We had SK help us with our move this week and I am greatly disappointed. They arrived over 30 minutes late and once they arrived it took them almost an hour to park and get started. So our 9 am start time turned into a 10:30 start time. At the end of the service we were charged for eight hours of work, the young man said they would waive one hour of drive time (now seven hours of work) so they began charging us at 9 am but were originally going to charge us for an 8 am start time.

Very disappointed in the communication. I was charged the driving fee when I was told bc I am not using their moving van and they live right around the corner it would just be man hours. They got $170 to sit on their butt and drive home in their Tesla! My bill was $760 to unload a 16 ft trailer and carry the kitchen cabinets and appliances up to my apartment, which was discussed on the phone. They didn’t even bring a dolly or appliance dolly - good thing I had my own!!
company could not move a 450 pound residential pocket pool table. Not sure of the issue as it was not explained satisfactorily...I moved this table myself with two stout lads, but am unable to do so this time. they did get back with two referals, who they called on my behalf. both said "no pool tables". it is a problem with thenindustry, not this company.

We hired Short Kingz to help us load the U-haul for our move back to Chicago from Grand Rapids. We could not have been happier with the entire experience! First they were responsive, up front about the pricing, and made booking extremely easy. Then the day of the move, they showed up right on time and ready to rock! Not only did they help loading all our heavy stuff in the truck, they organized it all to make sure we got every ounce of space out of that U-Haul!

These guys are great! Very professional (and also friendly!), on time, within estimate, fair pricing - I have only good things to say and highly recommend them, whether your move is big or small!! Mine was a small move - a one bedroom apartment to another apartment 4 miles away, but they treated my move as if it was top priority, and made moving hassle-free. Best experience with movers ever :)

Boy did I underestimate these guys! They were prompt and on time. I appreciated the multiple email reminder and confirmation. They came ready to work! Short Kingz over exceeded my expectations. They wrapped items very well and carefully moved them. They took their time while working efficiently. I was absolutely astounded by their ability to pack and care for each item, from the Grand Father Clock to original art works. I just can not say enough.
