I hired Sinclair Moving and Storage (contracted by Mayflower aka Unigroup) to move my one bedroom apartment from Philadelphia to Miami. Below are the highlights of my experience thus far with my move: 1. On the day of move, I was told that nobody had informed the movers that they would need to pack my fragile items, even though I communicated that directly with the sales agent at time of proposal and contract draft. I ended up paying another almost 1000.00 to have my items packed.

100% unprofessional. I called 9 days before my unanticipated move, and told them I needed to move Sunday the 11th. I traveled 2 hrs into town 5 days prior, to meet with a rep for a quote. The rep was 40 minutes late, and springs on me that they don’t deliver on Sundays!!! But, we could pay double time with a $1,200 min (for 1 bed, 2 dressers, 2 end tables, and a TV center - less than 10 miles away).
On a recent move Sinclair lost one of my boxes containing kitchen items. We noticed this when we tried to find plates on the night of the move and there were none. Although we purchased the insurance and filled out a claim form, Sinclair refused to compensate us for the missing items. RIPPED OFF! Do NOT use this company.
Worst experience with crosscountry move. This wasn't our first time moving coast to coast, but this was the worst experience with a moving company. Paul, our "move specialist", was hard to communicate with. He refused to do it via email, so we had to adapt to him to go back and forth with calls (so he didn't leave anything in writing and it was hard to track down with future complaints). First, he changed our initial estimate because he said we needed an extra guy, but then no extra mover showed up the day of.

I wanted to use this company based off the majority of good reviews but the sales rep Cecilia was horrible. Her quote was missing several pieces of furniture discussed during the walk through,she kept talking about her personal life and how her daughter and grandchildren live with her and how things are very difficult. It was the most frustrating process to attempt and keep her on task and yet she still screwed everything up.

We had an office moved by this company today, which resulted in catastrophic damage to All table top surfaces and desk surfaces. The firm has already denied responsibility. We hope that they will step up and make repairs to our furniture. I will update this review site as well as yelping through the the duration of this dispute.

Came out to quote and promised fast proposal. Never heard from anyone. Called into office and over talking receptionist wasn't customer supportive. Don't waste your time with this vendor.

I called this company while I was planning my move to my new home in Cherry Hill and they provided me with a thorough quote. On the day of the move I was a bit worried as I do have a lot of stuff and some large items. They came with a huge truck which they somehow fit all of my belongings inside of. Thankfully everything made it to my new home in one piece, their team did a great job and I appreciate the work.
