Missing $8,000 of Property and No Accountability I used Skyline Moving Service for an interstate move from Nevada to Michigan, and it was the worst moving experience I’ve ever had. When my shipment arrived, several high-value items were missing — including about $5,000 worth of golf clubs and a $3,000 NVIDIA graphics card. These were professionally packed and handed directly to their team, yet they simply never arrived.

We used Skyline on April 17th. 2026 and the day after the move we found an expensive watch and half of my cash removed from my zipped up briefcase that was in a walk-in closet. The three fellows were specifically told not to enter the walk-in closet. One person was found next to the walk in closet door and it had been opened. After calling and wanting to file a claim we had to send an email only. No person or extension would pick up my phone calls.

If I could give this moving company is zero, I would but it only excepts one star. We moved from Las Vegas to Pennsylvania. It took the movers about five hours to pack our truck. They stacked all boxes and bins on top of each other and then started loading the furniture. Every box that said, fragile, glass inside?be very careful! , was crushed in very badly. While they were moving artwork into the truck, they dropped one piece on the floor and it broke. One guy was on his phone.

This place is way over priced! A little over a year I called to ask how much it would cost to move a 1 bedroom apartment and the price wasn't too bad. $105.00 an hour with a 2 hour minimum plus mileage. I wasn't moving that far away from where I live now, so I had estimated that it would cost no mote than $300.00. I also gave them a complete list, online of everything they would have to move. Unfortunately, that move never happened for various reasons.

Two bedroom, 1100 sq ft apartment, no large appliances took 6 hrs to move out. Live on the 3rd floor with a set of 7 steps between each resting platform. I don’t understand because the layout was identified beforehand. Moving into my new home, movers chipped the paint on my brand new walls. I wouldn’t mind as much since things happen, BUT no one said a word!!! I noticed the chipped paint as they were leaving and that is when it was explained to me as an accident. Why try to hide it??

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY There reviews are so high because when they mess up they lowball you. Once that’s accepted you sign a contract to not write negative reviews. They broke our 86 inch tv. Broke my daughter’s crib. Lost a bookshelf and 2 boxes. Fortunately one of the boxes had my info in it and the person they dropped it off with called me and shipped it back. However, that cost $75 for shipping and the person they left it with also mentioned they were missing 2 boxes.

The crew was great. The issue was the people running the business. They had a morning move already scheduled but still gave me a 7 hour window 10-5. At 4 I emailed asking why I hadn't heard anything yet. I got a call and was told they ran late on the first move and my new window was 5-7 pm. There are a lot of moving parts to a move. I didn't have 9 hours to sit around waiting for them. It was disappointing that they didn't understand that. Easily avoidable.

From the very 1st contact with Aleisha at Skyline, I was impressed. She spelled out everything perfectly and gave several different options to choose from . There was never any pressure from her and never once did she compare her company to anyone else. All she did was say exactly what they would do and give the prices and options. We used this company for a large move. Some furniture & packing of personal items from an upstairs apartment to a storage unit facility about 2 miles away. From initial contact, this company handled business in a polite, professional & proficient manner. All details were specifically explained on the telephone and in writing (Aleshia). We had to reschedule the date & Skyline Moving was very accommodating. Leading up to the move, the manager (Michael) made contact to finalize details.

We just moved to UT from NV. We called to multiple different moving companies for quotes and skyline was by far the easiest, most detailed, and professional to work with and they had very competitive pricing! The first person we talked to on the phone was Alysha and she was super helpful!! We had a ton of questions and no one at skyline ever acted annoyed at us for that and took the time to answer all our questions to make us feel comfortable!
