In their own words
This company is a lied they lied to you from the begining before you sign your contract they really nice and after you pay and have your order in progress they call you and say that you have to pay more because maybe your stuff move out from the space you reserved and now you have to pay for 2 extra feet wich is 561 dollars and after they stole that money from your card , they call you again that they gonna put your delivery in delay because you give the wrong adress and now you have to pay 250 dollars more to get…
Do not do business with this company. We attempted to plan a move with ULoad and ended up losing $250 and scrambling to make new arrangements at the last minute. The whole experience made us feel so scammed that we called the federal Department of Transportation. At no point during our interactions did ULoad tell us that they were moving brokers and not a moving company Indeed, this fact is completely omitted from their website and was buried within the first contract that we signed with them.
The worst experience ever! If I could give a 0 Star I would. Very unprofessional all around. Both the managers, Al and Dolores don't know the true definition of management. They don't know how to even communicate between each other. This company tried to over charge me. I'm more insulted and disappointed that their manager Dolores pretty much called me a liar over the phone and threatened me.That made me drive down to the terminal and measure my own stuff.
I would not recommend this company to no one👎. My things were packed in a white truck in Arizona upon arrival was in a different truck, company denied my items were switched upon arrival many items was damage rearranged....and although insurance was in place....claim was denied. The manager Brian hung up on me when discussing the claims.Called back and was informed no one worked there by that name. Please share and save yourself the headache!!!! Uload isn't the carrier.
This company lied to be from the beginning. My contract stated, and I was told on the phone, that they would make all arrangements for moving and that I had 16 feet reserved in the truck but would only be charged for what I used beyond a minimum of 4 feet (this is IN MY CONTRACT). They made exactly two calls for me the entire trip and never answered any of my voicemails or phone calls. You are better off calling someone like Old Dominion and making your own arrangements so you aren't paying someone to do nothing.
I would give this company negative stars if I could. I booked what I thought was a moving company (found out they are only brokers) to move my family from Somerville TN to Fargo ND. I paid my non refundable $250 dollars. After a situation happened with the house I was supposed to move into, I had to notify them of a change of destination and have my route changed to a storage unit while I wanted for my rental to come available. I talked to a man named Al who identified himself as the manager of his department.
Everything sounds great until they get your money. They drop the trader off, you have 3 days to load it, they deliver it 1000 miles within 5 days and you have 3 days to unload it. We were given the measurements that were needed to get the trailer on the destination property. We measured everything and it was fine. If they parked on the grass, there was much more than needed. They said they sent someone out to look at the property and the trailer wouldn't fit. They said they could only do a terminal delivery.
DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! Do yourself a favor and just go directly through a moving company. They are a third party that handles the scheduling of the moving truck and I experienced constant miscommunications with them. The actual truck company was Estes Moving for my trailer so I would just recommend going through them. It's the exact same idea and you probably are in direct communication with the driver, which would make it a much easier process.

In their own words
I made the arrangements with the company a month in advance and they continued through the month communicating with me to assure all details. They were prompt on the truck delivery date making sure it was parked where it was most loadable. The driver was great and courteous and picked it up right on time to move my belongings. They were precise in measurement and contacted me to tell me it was perfect. The delivery was right on time Abe once again precise courteous and informative.
The movers were amazing! They got the job done in a fast time, which was very convenient for my family. Nothing was broken and everything that was moved was taken very well care of. Definitely referring to friends and family members who are moving.
Hired them to move my belongings across the country at a very fair price on a shared truck. They met all time frames and were courteous and the price was very fair.
ULoad was easily the cheapest of several bids I solicited for a long-distance move (midwest to the east coast) so my expectations were tempered but they ended up being great. The truck arrived clean and was in excellent shape, terminal-to-terminal transit time was right within their window, and communication the entire time was excellent.
