I booked them a week early for a morning move. The booking was easy and fast. On the day of the move, the lead mover called me that he was a bit late, and he showed up 2 hours late. There were 2 movers instead of 3 which was a big disappointment because it was a 4 bedroom house. The packing materials weren't included in the price. I was notified about this at the end of the move. Extra charges for boxes and wraps, which were offered free by other companies in the area.
We received a quote to move my 10*15 unit, 2 guys for 3 hours including drive time. That was just not realistic, especially considering that one of the guys they sent was not able to move quickly, so even though my unit was packed professionally, they took 4.5 hours with me busting my butt to help them. I don't blame the guys they sent, they were doing their best.
POOR experience!!! 1. They don't know how to pack at all. Not providing boxes, and no wrapping around delicate plates. 2. We have very less items that need move, yet they require minimum pay of 3 hours. That's fine, I paid 3 hours, but they …

This is the second time we've hired Skyy Moving to help us move; we also used them last year. Angela was very helpful. The first time, I texted her to inquire, and she explained everything in detail. She called to explain the price, and the movers arrived on time both last year and this year! They were meticulous in disassembly and assembly, and very professional. We used Skyy Moving last year, and we've hired them again this year. The price was clear. The movers were also careful.
I was referred to Skyy Moving by a friend who recently hired them to relocate his 4 bedroom home from San Jose to Bainbridge Island in Washington state. It was a complicated move, with large furnishings. He was very pleased with Angela and her team. So I called. Angela was friendly and knowledgeable and fair. She assured me that they could move my 2 bedroom place from San Jose to Los Gatos, no problem. The move (who likes to move?) was as good as moving can be.
This was a very pleasant experience. Highly recommended! We arranged for two movers to come after prior communication. They were very punctual. We had packed everything into small boxes beforehand. The movers packed the small boxes into larger ones for easier handling. They also carefully packed small pieces of furniture before moving them. The entire move from the South Bay to the Peninsula was completed in less than three hours. This moving company was fantastic—I would definitely recommend them.
I hired Skyy Moving for my move from San Carlos to Sunnyvale and overall had a good experience. The two movers were excellent - showed up early and got straight to work without wasting time. They skipped lunch entirely and kept pushing through the whole move. You could tell they genuinely appreciated being treated well during the process. The person handling scheduling was responsive and detail-oriented throughout the process.
