Wasn't super happy with my experience. I had several wooden pieces of furniture that came back very damaged, dents, and scratches on several pieces. A few were hand made by my late father which I can't even tell you how pissed off I am about THAT. Also didn't get started until 11am because of some crew issues, which I can understand, things happen, but it negatively impacted the move because they didn't get to the final destination until after the storage facility had closed. Which caused a whole new issue.

Hi Barbara, we believe you have the wrong company. We have no moves under your name nor have we done any moves completed where we worked till midnight? We also would never and have never held anyone’s belongings back especially a picture of their mom. We also have 5 and 7 ton trucks in our fleet.
Terrible company. I gave them my deep freeze defrosted, clean and dried out and when I got it back it was wet dirty inside and out. So they used it. They also just shoved a whole bunch of stuff in the one bedroom to the point where I can’t even get in there to close the window and they didn’t stack things against the wall or anything which is what I asked them to do. I told them to put everything along the walls so that I could actually walk in the room and see what I have. Terrible terrible company.
Slap Shot Movers parked across 3 parking stalls and refused to move when I asked them to, pointing out that the stalls are all reserved and we have a high number of disabled people in the building, and that any one of those 3 could come home at any time. They refused to move. I called the office, the person who answered said they would call them, but they stayed parked across the 3 stalls. There was ample street parking with connecting side walks that would not have increased the difficulty of their work.
If it is possible to give a zero star for this moving company, it would have been my options. When they helped me move sometime back, the owner & his son dragged my mattress through the snow, broke my moving plastic containers when the son carelessly flung it out of the vehicle, half of my breakables were broken and the father still harassed me when it was time for payment and wouldn't compensate for the damages. CAVEAT EMPTOR.

Hi Clayton, There are a few things that weren’t addressed on your end. You had expected us to provide you blankets and supplies when we were loading a sea can for you. That is not something we do, we quoted you on a price to have movers come out and help you with the move.

The movers had a complicated move because the elevators could not be reserved. It required them to essentially move the contents of the condo twice, they did not complain. They were polite, respectful, helpful, and careful with our belongings. We forgot certain tools, they offered theirs. We we struggling to put things together, they offered to assist. We were trying to awkardly lift things, they stepped in to help. Very kind and observant gentlemen.
Had a great experience with Slapshot Moving. The crew showed up on time, worked hard, and took great care of all my furniture. They were friendly, professional, and made the whole move a lot less stressful than I expected. The pricing was fair, there were no surprises, and everything arrived without any damage. I’d definitely recommend Slapshot Moving to anyone looking for reliable movers and would use them again in the future.
From my first initial contact with Rahul, he was thorough, and explained the entire process with ease. The movers were also great. Managed to assemble everything that i requested for as all. All around great experience. Will recommend to others!!
