April 18th, 2026, I was notified via a bill that my unit price is increased from $76 to $91 May 1st. They didn’t even have the common courtesy to give one month notice since I pay month-to-month. This price isn’t Consistent with prices on their website. For example a 10 x 10 entry level unit is listed at $67 per month while my unit is 7x 10 and the price will be $91.
Within 30days of using this facility my storage was broken into. They climbed the wire fencing at the top and literally hauled a portion of my personal items out via a U-Haul truck. I thought I was getting a location and storage that was …

Wish I could give zero stars. Was told i would have 24 hour access. Upon driving 2 hours to load my unit I was told otherwise. And no refund from where I had purchased online
I have a bad experience here in shop storage space. It’s because of the workers attitude that they treat people differently than others. It’s not only one time incident but twice by two people who work in the front desk. I called recently to ask reason why the monthly payment went up and she couldn’t explain why but hung up the phone so, I’m very disappointed and upset for her actions and once I remove my equipment, I will never get back to them and people have to know what kind of service they for different…

Worst experience ever. I was robbed of all of my belongings and these people still had the audacity to raise my monthly cost by double. They never told me that I got robbed. I had to find out by watching the news! The lady at the front desk lied and said that she didn’t know. And when I caught her in her lie, because her face was on the news, she admitted the management told her not say anything. Avoid this place at all costs.

So far my experience at Space Shop Self Storage has been superb! I needed a space urgently to store my daughter's extra items since she just graduated from college. I researched other facilities but I just wasn't satisfied as I needed a space that was large, climate-controlled, clean, secure, close by and most of all, affordable.
