Beware...Not every business is what they advertise. I lost a lot of items. Their insurance company denied my claim. LET THE CUSTOMER BEWARE!
Hi Debby! I am sorry this happened but you left a review for the wrong business! Please remove this review as well as the one you left on my Yelp page! I am a small business owner based out of Santa Cruz. I support my family and community … More
If I could, I would give this company no stars they are very unprofessional. They picked my things up November 3 somehow, by them moving my things, I have holes in my floors. They didn’t clean up any of their mess left all the trash on the floor.and gave me a delivery date of November 6. They’re not giving me any updates about my things. They’re not letting me speak to a manager or anything they called me and said my stuff will be delivered between November 21 or the 22nd.
Unfortunately, you are writing a review for the wrong business, as I am a small business in Santa Cruz and we never store clients' things, as I have no storage facility. We also have not moved anyone to Texas. I would really appreciate if … More
These people refuse to give me my household items & furniture. They want more money than Coastal Movers quoted me and I have a signed contract. Original quote was 6450.00 but Stanford wants 10670.00. I have an attorney to handle them.
Hi TJ! I am sorry this is happening to you, but you have the wrong business. I am a small business based out of Santa Cruz and I do not store any clients furniture. I would really appreciate it if you could take down this review, as you do have the wrong business.

Stanford Moving is truly the best of the best! As the owner of a home staging and interior design company, I’ve used them for countless moves—both business and personal—and I’ve never been disappointed. The team is not only skilled but incredibly careful, and they’re always up for any challenge. Whether it’s navigating a steep driveway with their truck, carrying furniture down a tight staircase, or moving delicate or oversized pieces, they always pull it off smoothly and safely.
Thank you, Briana, for your fantastic review! We're delighted to know that we've consistently met your expectations for business and personal moves. Your praise for our team's skill, care, professionalism, and fair rates means a lot. We appreciate your high recommendation and five-star rating!
Hello. I recently had my furniture moved by Stanford moving when my house sold. I recommend them. Easy to work with, professional, efficient and very reasonable pricing. Ray Schmidt
We're so glad we could make the furniture moving process easy and efficient for you after your house sold. It was a pleasure working with you, Ray, and we appreciate you highlighting our professionalism and reasonable pricing. Thank you for the recommendation!
Stanford Moving and Hauling is beyond excellent, I definitely recommend using them. We hired them to move us from our rather large mountain home in Boulder Creek on a curvy, narrow road with a driveway which has a pretty significant incline, and Josh and team made several trips up before the move to see the roads to make sure they knew just what they would need to do to get the job done.
Thank you so much, Linda, for your detailed and kind review! We’re thrilled to hear that our team exceeded your expectations during your move. Navigating difficult roads and driveways safely while protecting your belongings is always our … More
Amazing team! They care. We had Josh, Devin, Justin and team help us move twice for a reno we had done. And they helped us do a final push of packing when we had no energy left. Their attention to detail was top notch. I can be a bit OCD when it comes to others handling my prized possessions. Let me tell you, it was as if they had been raised by me! They knew just where to add extra padding. Thanks Justin! They were gentle with everything. Didn't put things down in the dirt or on the ground.
Juli, we are truly honored by your incredibly thoughtful review. Thank you. We're so proud of Josh, Devin, and Justin for bringing "zen" to your moves and handling your prized possessions with top-notch attention to detail.
