I was paying way too much money for the size storage I had. The prices online were less than half the price of what I was paying for on larger units . I forgot to pay one month and when they called me to inform me they left a voicemail threatening to sell my property at auction if I didn't pay the next month. Employees onsite are always in a rush to get us out of the office when making a payment. I no longer rent at this location

There are rats. I came back to my storage unit to all my stuff being bit up, rat poop everywhere. And when I tried to throw away the trash because over 80% of my stuff was covered in rat poop the staff informed me that I can’t use the trash can. Update here’s some of the damage. And the insurance only covers 500 for rodents the couch itself cost 2,000.

This place is incredibly disappointing, especially due to the unprofessional behavior of the staff. Maria was extremely rude and unhelpful. She pretended to be nice at first, but once she got the payment, her attitude completely changed. No customer deserves to be treated like this. It felt like I was a burden, not a client. Save yourself the stress—go somewhere else where they actually value their customers.

Absolutely disgusted with this place and their management. Our unit was broken into by someone able to crawl across the I beams from unit to unit. When brought to their attention, nothing was done, no help offered, no camera's towards the units. Basically if you don't provide your own insurance, your screwed...
Hi Karen, We are so sorry you experienced this. I know we focus on security as our top priority. We offer tenant protection but I see you declined it because you had your own form of insurance for the unit.
The Manager was rude and the worker. They do not have customer service and they had people living in the storages. They allowed other people to throw there junk in bins but gave us a hard time.

This place is the most disgusting storage I ever had to deal with. There is a rodent and bug problem. Im not impress with how they do bussiness. They should handle it professionally.

Right after 6 months of renting a storage unit my rent went up an outrageous 26%! Never have I had that happen to me in any other storage!

I took advantage of their 1st MONTH FREE promotion when I started renting a 5'x7' storage unit from StaxUp Storage in Chula Vista in March of 2024. And I especially liked the forklift access assistance as they provide, in which they will fill a large box with your stuff, grab their forklift, and lift it up and insert it into the building on the second level, where my unit is. It made me moving in So much easier!

Wow, Gary and team run a tight ship. The facilities are clean and well maintained. Excellent communication and always happy to help. Look no further, this is the best storage around.
Prompt and courteous help by Jerry; a couple of times I requested fork lift help, he was available as agreed. About the storage space, I had no issues.
