We used STI movers for a move from MI to FL. We researched the company online on multiple sites, read reviews, asked questions, etc and thought we had made the right choice. The gentlemen that packed up our belongings and the truck were amazing and very professional, and it seemed like the move would have no issues. It took quite a while to receive our belongings however (a little over two weeks) but that was per the contract, so we were prepared.
I would give zero stars if I could. I was quoted an amount after listing every piece of furniture that was to be moved. When the movers arrived they said it would take double the time. When I tried to talk to the manager, he said the guys said it was double the amount of furniture which was false. He asked if the movers could come back but after such rude service i refused. I then asked for a refund for my deposit and the manager hung up on me. Very unprofessional!!!! Avoid this company at all cost!
They declined to let us buy insurance then broke our TV, now they will not cover replacement cost. We purchased the full service moving package from Chicago to Minneapolis (we paid over $4000). We asked to buy insurance both prior to movers coming and when they actually came (Both times, their employee Mike, declined to let us buy such insurance, stating to us that "you don't need it, we never break anything."). They broke our TV upon delivery (~70 inch TV).

I called for a quote, the lady who picked up had a bad attitude, not friendly or helpful , I didnt appreciate the tone at all. I really dont think she cared for my business, hope you have friendly helpful people who picks up the phone to give quotes. The charges from the brief talk was outrageous. Even IF I end up paying about the same, which I doubt, I’ll take my business to a nicer one

Super excellent team of EXPERT movers! They were so efficient in moving our POD from the facility and into our new apartment.
