Relocated from another Storage Mart, that was great, to the one on farmway rd in Caldwell...HUGE MISTAKE. Was trying to get one a little closer to where I live but not worth it. Found out it was another company that merged with Storage Mart and now thinking it is because of how they do business they probably weren't doing so well.

Was a loyal customer since 2021. Went from paying $99 a month for a 10x10 to $112 when StorageMart took over. That was fine for a month. Then they tacked on their bogus insurance plan so went to paying $136 for a few months. Been eating the cost even though they were already stealing my money. For no reason this month, my rent went up to $156 and some change. That was the last straw. Made a call and not even they could explain it. Borderline disrespectful at this point.

This place was better when it was locally owned. I paid my bill 5 days ago and today the gate denied me access even though they took the money out of my account. I don’t like that it went to a mega company and that the company is really impersonal. The office staff are super nice here but they have no say and businesses should be run for the sake of service and relationships and not just to make people at the top of mega companies fat in my opinion anyways.

Zero stars if I could. Be prepared for your reservation to be cancelled when you arrive with staff (onsite staff that is) that will try their best to help you but are ultimately limited by the inadequacies of their management software. Honestly this is a poorly run company by many metrics. Without getting into the weeds on this, they did me pretty wrong and mishandled many things leading up to this post.

Nice at first will stick it to you in the end. Misleading. Mistake. Go somewhere else. Raised rent 50% sounds like the story they have been from several others Get you in at a low price them raise the rent on you, pretty sketchy, bad business practice. Shame on you. Plus mouse droppings and damage to my things...yucky!!

I was super impressed when I started renting a spot here for my RV a year ago. I was paying $70 a month then. In 11 months, they have done two price hikes so now my uncovered spot is $110 a month. Ridiculous. Just did my move out request today.
