Guys worked fast and very hard, but they went too fast. Dented my wall, hardwood floor, scratched some furniture, didn't put boxes in correct rooms, just went to fast. I would have gladly paid for another hour to have no dents, dings etc. Owner states that boxes in wrong rooms fall on me, I guess his guys can't read " loft " " kitchen " even after they had taken boxes to these rooms already.
Dear Jeff, We are sorry to hear your move did not meet your expectations and especially that there were damages. Unfortunately this is the first time we have heard about this or any issues with your move. We always strive to be fast and efficient, while avoiding damages.
Was quoted around 300 and was then charged 600 for 3 people on a 2 hour job. Pretty nice crew and hard workers though no damaged items.

Happy with the coordination of the move date and hours available to help us with our move but price per hour was a quite excessive but we had no other choice since they were they only moving company available at that time with our dates being set. We had 3 guys, two which hustled and did a great job while the 3rd one was seen numerous times standing around not doing much at all. After our move we had also noticed a damaged wine cellar valued at $3,000 with a shattered front glass.
Dear Jamie, I am sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your experience with 208 Moving. Our policies on damages were explained to you and you agreed to them with your signature on the day of your move.
We scheduled them to come move our house at the end of October 2016. They came out a few days before to give an estimate and to know about how much stuff we had and how long it would take. We even hired them to come and help pack. They spent a good deal of the time we paid them for packing just moving the boxes we already had packed to a different part of our garage. To their credit the guys were friendly and were careful with our belongings both for the packing and the actual moving.
Jared, Our sincere apologies that your experience with us here at 208 Moving was such a poor one. It would appear that there was a breakdown in communication between the crew and the office, which contributed to the unfortunate circumstances of your move.
Do not use. Worst movers. They started out strong and then after taking a break for lunch just started throwing stuff in my garage instead of putting it in the rooms even though the boxes were labeled. The washing machine was barely in the laundry room. They damaged my door jam in my brand new house . Not a good representation of a company. I have never written a negative review before but this kind of service needs to be addressed.

This is the second time I have trusted my belongings to a moving company. The first experience was not good. But I'm not as young as I used to be and just can't do what I used to. However, any anxiety was quickly dispelled with 208 Movers. Right from the first phone call with Bret I felt confident I had made the right decision. Communication with their office was smooth and their response time great. Then the crews arrived. I needed 2 trucks and 4 movers.

Drew (the owner) and his team are hands down the best movers in the Treasure Valley. From the very beginning, the attention to detail and level of professionalism was quite apparent. I explained our situation and layout of the house with difficulties of a steep driveway, numerous stairs, and sharp corners. In order to understand exactly what the job entailed, Drew personally came over for a walk-thru. He explained the process, asked my preferences, and assured me he had the team to get it done.
A steep driveway, multiple flights of stairs, tight corners, and 100+ degree temperatures made for quite the moving day! We’re proud of how Rhett, Cam, and Nick handled it with speed, professionalism, and a great attitude.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with this service. They were very responsive and easy to communicate with. It was very helpful that they sent reminder messages and calls as the moving date approached. Also, the team of Brad and Cedric were super careful, respectful, joyful, and efficient. the only point for improvement that i see is clearer information on the rates. When i asked for a quote i didn't hear about the transportation charge, which in my case ended up being about $120. Which is quite significant.
