Horrible manager They enter unit and take things. Over charge and are evil to seniors. Avoid this place, unbusiness like.
I am changing my post. I am leaving this month. PS. They bought my good comment last time by giving me a discount. Not worth it. When I was pregnant last year, the owner decided to do construction and I couldn't get to my unit directly. He said I just needed to walk. I was 8 months pregnant. I told him that there was no notification, and I needed to park and get into my unit. He was frustrated with me.
My cousin rents a storage unit here and I went with him to go get a few things out. While we were there I overheard the way one of the staff (the owner I believe) was treating one of the customers there, who was obviously having a rough time from the sound of it as it was. All this dude cared about was money, money, money....greedy money hungry people these days I swear trying to squeeze all he could out the situation..he didn't care about what the customer was going through...just watch out for the hidden fees
Zero stars if I could. For the nerve they have to try to charge your customers $100 for every five minutes after closing to leav the parking lot. Apparently you can get out with no problem so it’s an automatic but they just want to charge you 100 freaking dollars for every five minutes for no reason other than to stick it to you. I can’t believe any business would have the nerve to do that. That is absolutely pathetic.
Corey. It took some research, but we found that you are not an actual tenant, but the relative of a tenant whom you were helping move in. That particular tenant is a well respected, very long term tenant who is well aware of our access hours and closing times.
I left and got another storage elsewhere out of frustration. I would go to my storage and sometime i would be up on a ladder to get stuff on top of the shelf when the light would automatically shut off which is a bit dangerous because it gets really dark and you'd need to go to the hallway to get the light back on. It just became too frustrating so I found another storage facility.
Amanda. I am sorry you were unhappy with our lighting set up. All of our units, larger than 150 square feet have lights inside the unit, a nice amenity that we offer that is not common in the industry. These interior lights are on a timer, max time is 20 minutes.
Beware. My rent increased about $15 a year after I moved to a different unit. The fact that I had been with the co for years prior seems to have no meaning to them. According to the clerk, they do an 'evaluation' of your status every 10 months or so, so, technically, they could increase your rent every 10 months into indefinitely.
Over priced poor customer service best thing is they are convenient and the manager. If his staff was 30 percent as good as he is place would be a winner with high prices.
I give zero stars. Take the price they offer you online and double it. That's what they do when you go in to sign the lease.
Lisa, I am so sorry you were unhappy with our awesome move in promotion. As is common in the Storage industry, new customers, depending on the season and the inventory levels, are offered move in discounts. the offer you responded to was 50% off the standard rate for the 1st 2 months.

I was looking for a nice car storage facility in the Foothills area, I checked out two storage companies and STORBOX immediately stood out as the company I would feel comfortable leaving my car for up to six months; I talked to Lien on the phone, who called me back right way and put me on the wait list for their one parking spot that just opened up, after two days they put my mind at ease: I got the spot for $135/month.

I am a new super fan of Storbox. The leasing process was quick and painless. The spaces are clean and well-lit. And the staff provides amazing customer service. Friendly and efficient. My items are well protected and safe. Fantastic location and great access. Lynn was very helpful and got me set up and off to a great start.

I rented a small storage unit at StorBox in Pasadena for some household goods that I want to keep safe. I found it to be a modern, clean and well-run facility. The buildings are of solid construction (mostly concrete blocks and steel), so they should be safe against fire and weather hazards. The interiors are climate-controlled. Everything is very secure. The facility is spread across several multi-story buildings with two vehicle entrance points.

Fantastic location from start to finish! So glad my previous storage option did not pan out and I stumbled on STORBOX! Sarah was so amazing on our first meeting and set us up with a great storage unit for our budget. And also all the perks––free moving van, use of hand trucks AND moving cloths!! It realy made a difference especially compared to other locations that charged tooth and nail for every little thing, which really adds up!
