Wow, these guys were exceptional. As a point of reference, we have moved 18 times in the last 35 years. Needless to say we have quite a bit of experience with movers and Chariot was the best we’ve EVER used. I will start with Ana, who was my initial contact. Her follow up and communication was excellent, she was kind and easy to work with. Ben came to the house to do an estimate and he was spot on with the time required, size of truck, number of movers AND the total cost of the move.
Awesome experience! Khan and his team worked non-stop to help my mom move. There was a lot of stuff still to pack before going into the truck and they were so efficient and careful. Clear, honest pricing up front and he explained the breakdown again at the end when we paid. Every item was wrapped and secured in the truck so everything showed up unharmed from the hour move from OC to SD.
We hired Chariot Moving Company last minute after our PODS container fell through, and they completely saved the day. What could have been a stressful situation—especially coordinating a long-distance move for my 80-year-old parents—ended up being smooth and manageable thanks to them. We originally booked them for three hours but ended up needing five, and they were incredibly flexible and accommodating. They made it work without any stress or hesitation.
After a very rough experience with Chariot Moving in the past, I honestly never expected to be writing this review, but credit where credit is due. The new owner, Ben, reached out to me proactively after learning about my prior experience. By pure coincidence, I happened to be moving again a couple of months later, and he offered to personally make sure this move was handled the right way. I was hesitant, but I’m genuinely glad I gave them another chance. This move was a completely different experience.
