I used this company to move out. My impression of the company was OK in the beginning until move out date. They were supposed to be at my apartment at 9:00am instead they were about 45 minutes late. During the actual move the guys that came seemed like they were in such a huge rush from the very beginning. When the move out was done the job was left incomplete. This is because they left certain items behind which I had to physically take myself because they were in such a rush.
Recently the company did all my moving. Unfortunately, several pieces of jewelry and an iPhone were stolen from me. No one took responsibility. I filed a report with the police, but the saddest thing of all is that nothing happened and I was left without my things and paying for a moving company. I was not at all happy with how they handled the situation.
EDIT: Over 8 weeks now. Another week of promising it will be resolved, that there will be an answer, that they are doing everything they can. Still nothing. Sunset Moving Solutions was listed as an approved vendor by the University of Miami, to remove contents from student dorms that were shut down early due to Covid-19. We contracted with them to collect and store our belongings from the U of M , and to ship two suitcases full of clothes and other belongings to Ohio.
I recently used Sunset Moving Solutions to move my personal belongings from Miami to Copenhagen, and I’m deeply disappointed with the service. Upon arrival, I discovered that several of my items were damaged. After investigating, it was determined that the damage occurred during the initial packing stage in Miami, which was handled by Sunset Moving Solutions. When I reached out to address the issue, I was met with a response that essentially denied any responsibility because the move was international.
Not a professional company for moving. It was picked up by this company from Weston, FL on June 14th, 2019 Friday to deliver in Flushing NY. It's very disappointing that not only they have delivered my stuff but also the company don't pick up the phone or call back. And I am writing this after on June 24th, 2019, almost more than one week later. Please be careful!
On behalf of Sunset Moving, we apologize for the inconvenience Ms. Maksuda experienced. Her delivery was indeed delayed due to a malfunction of a third party company truck that was contracted.
This company was recommended to me and after meeting Mr. Ruiz I understood that I was in good hands. Unfortunately, a hard drive with sensitive information present in a box was lost in destination. *Here is my moving data you asked for; 04.14.2023

I just moved to Miami and I needed a company to unload the POD from the PODs warehouse and take everything up to my new apartment in Coconut Grove. They were on time to meet me at the warehouse and everything went very well, all the guys were very professional and great service. The only problem we ran into was that the couch wouldn’t fit into the apt, it was due to the low ceiling, a wall right in front of the door and a large sofa-bed.

Spectacular service and motivated movers. Nobody like Sunset Movers! Doesn't matter what monkey wrench the move presents at the last minute, they always have a solution with a smile. You can call them and you feel the smile through the phone. I got puppies and we had some major accidents on area rugs. They were doing a move nearby and came by to remove the rugs within 24 hours.
The company owner came to fix some damages and we are happy with he way he handle it. Thank you for stopping by and giving me the solution to the damages. The owner promise to give me the amount for my chair and fix or give the amount my chest is worth via the claim and they are giving me $12 for the chair(office chair) and $24 for my solid wooded chest that cost $1000. Ridiculous!!! Contacting BBB right now. ...Update 3/23/2021...
