I have mixed feelings about my move. Angelo and Julian were personable and nice. The issues I had were the team showing up 30 minutes beyond the window. Which would have been fine but I got no update until they arrived at about 10:30. We left at 12 to head to my new place. It was a ways away so I expected some delay but it took the team nearly 3 hours to get 50 miles. Again with no update until I texted to check in.

I do not recommend Texas Best Movers for any moves! I booked them in April 2021 for my move July 2021. The morning before my move I received a text stating they would be at my apartment between 8am and 9am. At 9:15am still no one had arrived so I began calling and texting and finally at 9:40 am I received a call back stating they were on their way. They finally showed up at 10:20 am. I have a 1 bedroom apartment and was transferring to a 2 bedroom on the same property.
These movers milked the clock to waste hours of our time in order to make more money. They tried to drive away with all of our furniture. They tried to intimidate us into paying more than they originally quoted us. I cannot fathom how a company like this can even be in business. -The move was supposed to start between 8am and 10am. The movers showed up around 11am with a few minutes’ notice that they were running late. -They proceeded to immediately start milking the clock. Blatantly.

The two movers that helped me were so great. Punctual, professional, and extremely friendly and helpful. An unfortunate accident happened with my new dresser and I was advised to submit a claim form and photos. I have no issue with that as long as the company makes it right; accidents happen. The issue began when this company refused to respond to me about my claim. I still have not heard anything back from anyone and it’s been weeks. If you use this company pray that nothing gets damaged.

I’d give negative stars if I could! I hired this company to move a 2br apartment to a home. I had the appointment time set up for 2pm and even took the day off from work to prep everything for their arrival and payed the extra for mattress covers and tv packing... WELL, they didn’t make the 2pm appointment and were 6HRS LATE!!! They didn’t show until 8pm.
UPDATE- Dec. 8, 2018: After receiving a reply to my review from Erik Scheetz who represented himself as the owner of Texas Best Movers, one who proclaimed "customer service" and "happy customers" a priority, I called him (as requested) 4 times, each time leaving a message and texted him twice. I did not get a single response. I learned from calls which he had forwarded to a voicemail at one point he also refers to himself at "The Apartment Guy" although I'm not sure what that means. However, it appears clear Mr.

Please DO NOT use Texas Best Movers Company. We hired Texas Best Movers about a month and a half ago, expecting a smooth, professional move - but that was not our experience. On moving day, the crew off the bat had a hard time communicating to us clearly and confidently; they seemed uninterested in interacting at all. All three workers took multiple undocumented breaks at the same time, halting progress for 30–45 minutes at a time, several times throughout the day.

Let’s save a friend a neighbor a loved one from experiencing a nightmare and fraud from this company in the future ******* I hired Texas Best Movers to move one single massage chair I was originally advised of a 109.00 total with 100.00 deposit which I paid at the time of booking my appointment. Within 10 minutes of the guys arriving in the process of moving my chair through a patio door that was more than wide enough for the chair to fit through, they damaged the upholstery and broke a piece off of my 6,000.00…

The team was punctual, polite, funny, friendly and careful. I was super impressed how fast and efficient they worked. Motivating each other to keep going and go faster. Very professional. The scheduler worked with me and got me the best price and even got very creative how we could accomplish the job most affordably. Even though I changed the date and the destination 3 times, they took it in stride and were super helpful. The price was as quoted. Just perfect, couldn't be happier.

EVERYTHING about my experience with Texas Best Movers was exceptional. From my initial call with Erik to Guillermo, Richard, and Richie loading the last pieces into my POD - 10/10! Erik and Guillermo were very responsive any time I reached out. They treated me as if I was their family getting ready to make this big move - they repeatedly calmed my fears about this whole process. Richie was a Tetris master fitting all of my worldly possessions into the POD.

Our last move a few years ago was cross country with a major national company and it was a nightmare. We paid considerably more than we were originally quoted, items were damaged and our truck was late. After this experience I was dreading moving again. When we found out my husband was being transferred to a branch an hour away we knew this time we needed to ask around to find a better company. A good friend referred us to Texas Best Movers and that's who we went with for our most recent move.
They are so friendly! We weren’t going to get movers but our load was just too much for us to bear worried we won’t be able to book movers on such short notice we were worried but called them anyway. I am so happy I found this company they were so friendly over the phone and answer any and all my questions I had and were quick to respond that they had availability that next morning. They arrived within the timeframe and they got straight to work. we did a walk-through of what needed to be packed into our truck.
