I gave an honest review of damage to several pieces of furniture. The owner wanted it removed for $250 in compensation. I was hesitant to do so. Below is my amended review. The owner is not satisfied; he wants it removed completely and is withholding the money. $250 will not even begin to pay for the damage. I would rather you know the truth. He is now threatening to say my husband is not a man of his word. He is determined to damage our business in Florida if we do not change it.
If you are looking for good reliable service this IS NOT the moving company for you. We had them paid and scheduled our move day and THEY NEVER SHOWED UP!!!! WOULD NOT ANSWER OR RETURN CALLS!!!!! Moving is stressful enough without having added stress. Save yourself aggravation, money, and stress. HIRE ANOTHER COMPANY!!!!!!!

Background-We have had 4 cross country moves in the past 12 years using professional moving services. This was our first local move. Pros-courteous staff, one of the lowest bids, they actually sent someone to look at where they would deliver to since we were moving to the mountains. Cons-they pulled staff off of our packing job and did not replace them; this resulted in a much longer packing day and moving staff used the next day to continue packing.

For 6 months they refused to communicate with me. When I offered a new address and payment information they were not in the least bit interested. I asked for a detailed billing statement 3 times and never received it. 6 months later when they finally decided to reach out to me not only will they not listen to a word I say, they hung up on me, wouldn't answer the phone and will not respond to email.

We used the Moving Connection for 2 moves in a 2.5 year period. The first move was fantastic. It took a 2 man team 4 hours (8 man hours) to move my girlfriend and I from 2 apartments into 1 location. I was not there to help with the move - just the 2 movers and my girlfriend handled everything. We were so impressed that we decided to use them again. On the 2nd move, Paul came to our place and did an estimate for us. I did not think this was necessary because they had done the move before.

The Moving Connection: This was a very positive experience this morning (9/6/23). The crew arrived on time and was very friendly and professional in completing the work. My appreciation goes to Jesus and Paco for the care they showed moving the various items, some of which were quite heavy. Very satisfied! Update: The Moving Connection was used again on 9/19/23 to return items back to their original locations in our home. This move went very well.

We had an excellent moving experience with The Moving Connection. We'd used them before and went back to them for our recent move. The communication is consistent and responsive, the estimate was realistic and fair (with no up-charges after the fact), and the moving team was stellar and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!

The two gentlemen who came to do our move were professional in every sense of the word. I have used Moving Connection for years and was really impressed with the changes in the handling of the contract and billing aside from the professionalism of the team who helped in this move. I didn't think the experience could be any better but it was. The team arrived after phoning and they were able to come early which was great. I explained, they went to work, and finished the job in excellent time.
