If I could give this company a negative review, I would. I wish I had read the reviews prior to booking their services; however, my coworker recommended them, and value his insight. We scheduled the move months in advance, and were informed that our move would take place with the company on requested date starting between 9 and 10a. The day prior to the move, the owner called me to say that they would not be able to arrive prior to 1p, and if that was a problem then they could change the date to Sunday.
I do apologize Ms. Matula, both personally & professionally. There were some scheduling conflicts on both ends, and unfortunately, the job that we were working on the 2 days prior to your move ran late & tied all my trucks and people up for what ended up to be several days.
Very rude and unprofessional man! Update to your response: I never had the chance to make an appointment so that’s a lie. I called that morning asking for rates and you angry and said “I’m gonna charge $125 do you want it done or not! I got better stuff to do if you’re not gonna get it done” and after that I told you I didn’t need you to do it anymore. But ASAP MOVERS in Dothan were awesome! Very polite, kind, professional and hardworking! I recommend them to anyone over The Moving Truck any day!
Im Sorry you feel that way, but you are the one who canceled on us at the last minute on a scheduled delivery that you called and set up. Again, I am sorry that you feel that way.
Was referred to Evan (the moving truck) by a friend and gave him a call and he gave us a price to load and unload our 10x20 storage unit to our new home. Once the job was done he charged us almost double saying it took more time than he thought. Well Evan.. you shouldn’t have gave a price to us if you weren’t going to stick to your word. That’s bad for business and I will never recommend him to anyone. He has not tried to fix this with us

This company is a joke. they were suppose to move my mother at 9 am. they didn't show until 2:30. They said they were late getting back from another job. they stayed for 2 hours. they were suppose to come back at 9 am the following day. It is currently noon and they still haven't showed up! meanwhile, we have been waiting for hours moving everything ourselves! Go with a more reputable company that will get the job done.

The owner cannot drive the truck he owns. Not sure how he has not wrecked by now. Completely blew a stop sign and almost plowed into me in a residential neighborhood! I called the number to report him and he says he is the one driving the truck! No apology or anything! He just denies that he ran the stop sign. Very unprofessional!

This is highly uncharacteristic, as in it doesnt and rightfully shouldnt ever happen. My crew did not show up this day. I can offer no more explanation than that, but do sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and trouble it caused you.

Hi Kierra, I do apologize for the misunderstandings here. On our website however it does state that all weekday jobs are a 3 hour minimum charge. That is pretty standard with most any moving company. Our website also states that local moves are $100-150/hr for one truck and a 3 man team.

I have hired this company twice this month. I spoke with Spring the first time and she came out and assessed our place to give us an estimate on the two jobs. I loved that she actually came out to my home and saw what we needed. Then they came out and just loaded a moving truck that was headed to Florida. Marty and Jason did a spectacular job. Then we moved the rest of our things to a new place. Both places have stairs and it did not impact them. They did their job.

Evan and his crew were a pleasure to work with. My closing date was rescheduled and Evan accommodated that with no issues. The crew was very polite, friendly and competent. My belongings were moved carefully and skillfully. I highly recommend and had a very positive experience.
