The rating breakdown
Google shows 17 ratings for this business. Below twenty, a percentage swings too far on a single review to mean anything, so we don’t publish one. 2 of those are one or two star.
Google’s published star breakdown
| Rating | Distribution | Count | Share |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 star | 14 | 82.4% | |
| 4 star | 1 | 5.9% | |
| 3 star | 0 | 0% | |
| 2 star | 0 | 0% | |
| 1 star | 2 | 11.8% |
Counts as published by Google in its star breakdown, not the reviews we have read. Google also publishes a review count, which does not always match this total. Each row is rounded on its own, so the shares need not add to exactly 100%.
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
From start to finish wonderful experience. We needed a piano moved. Excellent communication, professional and timely.
Contracted The Piano Shop to move my upright piano from Champaign to Savoy and couldn't be happier. The price was reasonable and they were great about rescheduling when my move was delayed due to my closing date being pushed out. While getting the piano out of my old house was easy, it had to go down some tricky stairs at our new home. They got it all done quick and easy. Would highly recommend.
This is a truly special place where incredible instruments are born and remade—and with a dedicated and inspiring team. This is a great place to buy instruments, to rebuild, and to service. I bought my childhood instruments here, and thanks to the generosity of the team also found my dream instrument as a performer later in life. Knowledgeable and detailed with explanations, the team can answer all your questions.
Best shop in the area! Very knowledgeable and they do high quality work. I've had them move several pianos for me and have been happy with their professionalism. The have the proper equipment and understanding to move your piano the right way.
