Top Notch Movers arrived hours late for my move with only 2/3 of the promised staff (yet I was charged for all three). They damaged several of my items, were disrespectful, overcharged me, and did not listen to me when I told them where to put things. DO NOT HIRE THESE MOVERS!!!

I dont recimmend Top Notch Movers! We we were quoted $1300 for packing and $1800 for the move. It ended up costing us 1800 for packing and 4400 for the move and they didn't inform us until AFTER they moved everything that it was going to be higher. The packers ran out of packing materials so left a bunch of stuff unpacked and we were still charged 50% more than what they quoted for packing!!! The manager even came tonthe house and never mentuon that the price would be 2 and a half times the quote.
Top Notch gives a competitive bid, but several things were damaged during our move and I was told “insurance only allows 60 cents per pound to cover damage”. How do you measure a damaged door frame in pounds? TN kicked in extra, but it doesn’t begin to cover the scraped paint, damaged flooring (in several places), and damaged door frame.

Far from Top Notch Movers, delivered a brand new $3,700.00 Lazy Boy Love Seat, pushed it off the 4 foot high tail gate, love seat landed on one end on the road, bounced up to land on that end a second time. After they left we found the drawer inside the counsel is broken, and the whole frame is sprung. Sent an e-mail to corporate, with no response from corporate. Now I’m stuck fighting with the furniture store, over the damage.

DO NOT MOVE WITH THIS COMPANY. Seriously, I cannot recommend them less. I scheduled a move with Top Notch because they were the closest moving company to my location (practically next door) and I was only moving half a mile away. The reviews were good, and I needed movers quickly, so I took a chance. BOY, DO I REGRET IT.
The team on the first day was great. The team on the second day and third day were careless and destroyed so many things of ours. It wasn't just the way things were packed, but thr way things were handled at the unloading. Boxes maked Fragile were upside down and under boxes of books. Our book shelves were destroyed. A priceless painting was pierced through. It has been two weeks and we are still finding broken or compromised items.
I wish I could give more stars. The movers worked really hard and were very polite. However, over the past month of getting everything unpacked, more and more items I realized were missing somehow. My husband and realtor had both checked the house after everything was packed on the trucks, so I know none of our belongings were left behind. It baffles me what could have happened to the stuff from point A to B.

Unfortunately I did not have a "Top Notch" move. Gustavo, Antonio, and Javier were pleasant enough but were careless with my things. They did not pad and cover properly resulting in several things being damaged. I notified the manager, Ben, who promised compensation but didn't follow through with it. He would not return my phone calls nor respond to email. It wasn't until I threatened to file a complaint to the BBB that he sent a check. Just a check, no phone call, no email.

We had Javier and Devin as our movers for Top Notch. Both of them were an absolute joy to work with. They showed up on time and got right to work. We only had them move our furniture, but they made sure to cover everything with moving blankets, and then wrap it in stretch film. They took the utmost care in getting everything out of our house without damage our stuff or our walls. They were both the definition of professional, but also very friendly and personable.

Top Notch did a great job on my recent move (a 90-mile distance). I had everything well-packed and labelled, so that helped make their job easier of course. However, I have some large furniture pieces, and had about 60 boxes; they loaded it up (including blanketing and wrapping of furniture) in roughly two hours. I have moved my stuff a number of times, and this was definitely fast for only 3 guys. The unloading was fast as well, and they were very good about positioning furniture for me in the new place.
Top Notch helped us with moving everything from a 3rd floor 1BR apt. into a basement storage space across town in Madison 7/28/21 and back into a 1st floor 1 BR apt. across town from the basement storage space 9/2/22. Top Notch's friendly, professional staff always answered the phone to provide us with a quick, thorough estimate and to schedule the 2021 move during one of the busiest moving times of the year with only 2 weeks notice.
I didn't know moving could go so smoothly until Top Notch moved us this weekend! Our team of Janne, Erick, Devin, and Daniel were professional, skilled, and friendly. They wrapped all of our furniture, successfully moving tricky pieces like some oddly shaped antiques, glass table tops, and a marble topped dresser-- with no damage to any furniture or walls. They struck the right balance of working efficiently, but still being careful.
