DO NOT use Troys! His crew damaged the door of my old house and my refrigerator and after over a year him dodging my calls I finally gave up. It wasn’t even questionable whether they did the damage the guys who worked for him called him when it happened and wrote it in the receipt they provided me. He promised he would repair everything when we spoke and never showed up when he was suppose to meet me and after that point he began to dodge my calls.

I had a September 1st move and they showed up three hours late, no one called to let me know. The person I originally dealt with, said that I would receive a call 30 minutes before they arrived, no one called, not even to tell me that would show up three hours late. It was originally scheduled for 1pm but they showed up at 4pm. No one called prior to the 4pm arrival. They reaked of cigarette smoke and when I opened the door to let the three movers in, I said "Hello" and they gave no reply.
CANCELLED THE MORNING OF MY MOVE. Troy was the most unprofessional and obtuse person I have ever encountered. I was scheduled with him for a month, and the night before, he told me he was going to be 3 hours late due to another customer, then cancelled the morning of my move. He takes no accountability, is incredibly rude, hangs up while talking to you, and constantly interrupts and talks over you while speaking. He would leave me messages, lose track of who he was calling, and call right back.

I went with someone else and this guy will not take no for an answer. If you want him to call you every two seconds and leave voicemail after voicemail, go ahead and get a quote. He just doesn’t get it! Very obnoxious to be spammed with calls. My brother in law had the same problem. Went with another company, and was spammed with calls every day for weeks. Troy is seriously nuts he left me 6 or more voicemails within 10 minutes and got angrier with every one. Did the same to brother in law.

Horrible!!! Paid almost $300 to get a piano moved...which they advertised that they do. The keys are all shifted now and unplayable!!! I called and told the owner...who then hung up on me twice...talk about being unprofessional. He will not take responsibility for this..let’s think about this with common sense. Until he does I will continue to leave my true thoughts about his company all over the internet and word of mouth.

They did a good job with the move but damaged a bureau. Spoke to Troy and at the time was hard to find someone to repair. That was 2 months ago. I have since sent several emails and no response. All I wanted was our furniture repaired. Be careful does not cover broken furniture.
Terrible don’t do it to yourself was told I would have three workers coming to move my house within three hours two workers showed up we went over the time limit, and I was forced to pay the extra amount. Then I go to build the furniture …
sorry you feel this way however i did say it was by the hr and based on our phone conversation you never mentioned some of the extra work we had to do like dissasebling your bed that took more time i also gave you a reduced rate my est was on point .
Unprofessional and dishonest. Avoid at all costs! Only benefit of them cancelling THE DAY OF OUR MOVE was finding someone more trustworthy and cheaper. One star is too many.

Contracted with Troy's movers after having previously used them for a local move a few years ago. Still impressed with Troy and his team. Troy took the time to meet up front to understand exactly what needed to be done. He scheduled a team of three movers who worked efficiently throughout. On the scheduled day, they arrived on time and handled all items they moved with great care. In the end, the final invoice came in under the original estimate, which was a nice surprise.
I just used Troy’s movers on my local move 3/10/25. The team was awesome. Troy came out and was about $400 cheaper than any other mover I got quotes from. I moved a lot of stuff. His team was efficient, kind, and offered to help any way they could. It’s nerve racking paying for movers - never know what you’re going to get truly! But I am thrilled to have gone with Troy. He’s a character and not your classic business guy and that makes him great. No funny business.
We had an exceptional experience working with Troy's Moving. Short turn around office move; just a couple days notice. Movers showed up early (after calling) worked carefully but swiftly. Very efficient. Total move was way under budget & estimate, as we expected 4-5 hours and they were done in 2 1/2. Highly recommend!
