This entire experience with Tru-Pak was doomed from the beginning. I’d give less than one star if it were possible. The movers basically told us their challenge was to pack my house in one day - their objective was speed, not quality, and that was evident on the end. Not a single piece of furniture was wrapped or protected. Many items not even wrapped in paper or packed in boxes (ex. My kids toothbrushes and countertop items thrown openly into the bathroom’s waste bin).
Tru-Pak Moving charged me $500.00 for a shuttle that was not used. When I asked for a credit, I was told that I was not charged for the shuttle, even though the charge was clearly indicated on the estimate. I made a Better Business Bureau claim, to which Tru-Pak responded that the $500.00 charge in question was for the shuttle, which clearly confirms that I was charged $500.00 for a shuttle that was NOT used. In addition, Tru-Pak Moving damaged my night table, and refuses to have it repaired.
We did not have a good experience with Tru-Pak at all. We were moving from West Virginia to North Carolina. Our things were going to be held in storage for about 10 days. Everything we had was new furniture because we had suffered threw losing all our belongings in a house fire the year before the move. The estimator even wrote down that there was no damage or scratches on our belongings.

Everything about my move was handled professionally and promptly. From receiving the estimate to the actual move, the process was seamless. The movers called to notify their arrival time, household items and art were carefully handled and packed and belongings and car were whisked away to arrive safely from Maine to NC.
Professional, fast , dependable and courteous service. I like them so much , I've been thinking of quitting my job after 3 years and being a part of that awesome team.
The Tru-Pak team did an excellent job delivering our items and getting them where they needed to be in our home! We had a bunch of oversized and heavy pieces and they were so helpful getting things placed so I wouldn’t have to try to move them into the correct spot later. I highly recommend them to anyone with an upcoming move!
I am responding to Derrick and I don't remember his last name. However, for all of you, Destination is always going to be different. Sometimes the the Truck and Trailer don't fit.
