In their own words
The person on the phone was very confident in the estimate he gave me, only for it to be increased by at least 50% on the day of my move. They also failed to pack entire cupboards and drawers full of items, and lost some of my property on the 20-minute drive between my old apartment and my new house (how is that even possible?). Based on my experience with them, I would not recommend this company.
True north movers were slow and unprofessional. Team was slow to fill the truck. Gave them a key to go ahead and start unloading the truck. When I arrived they were just having a stroll through the neighborhood without even starting to unload. That time that they were just having a comforting stroll they tried to charge me extra time for. Overpriced and underdelivered
Thank you Matthew for choosing True North Movers as your moving company of choice😊 …
I hired True North Movers for a move within the city . The guys didn’t take responsibility for the scratches they made in the hardwood floors, nor for the scratches they made on the TV. I tried to call the company a couple of times , no one took the calls. I gave up. I will seek their help in future nor recommend them to others
The actual movers were absolutely amazing guys! My original booking was for 10am. I was at my storage unit at 9:50 am. I waited and waited. At 10:20 I called the office and I was informed there was a time change in booking. It was changed to 12 noon. I was no made aware of this. Due to the change I had to call my apartment to make them aware of the time change re service elevator and availability. I was told the guys would be there within 1 hr. An hour and 15 mins later they arrived. Not very impressed.
Hey Dawn, we are sorry again about the mix up with your start time, please give our office a call and we can see how we can make this right by you.
Would give even lower! Sent in asking for a quote 5 days ago still have not received one! I was however sent two emails asking to leave a review and enter a contest they were hosting. Very unprofessional!
Hello Erin I am very sorry to hear this . I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused amd we will look into what happened on pur emd with your email submission request.

In their own words
We strongly recommend True North Movers. We recently moved and we couldn’t have asked for better service. From the initial booking, True North was helpful with any questions, flexible with scheduling and professional with their follow up confirmation call. On the day of the move, three young men arrived on time, they were very friendly and efficient! Before they started we did a walk through of everything that needed to be done and all questions were answered.
Thank you Dina for choosing True North Movers as your moving company of choice😊 …
Literally the best experience we have ever had with a move. First, I sent in a request for a quote where I was introduced to Allen, who is an absolute dream to work with. He is so attentive, so kind and so willing to go above and beyond to answer questions. He even answered a question on a Saturday evening when I emailed in (thinking I’d hear back the week later). Allen is one of a kind and he is the reason we choose True North Movers!
Thank you Natalie for choosing True North Movers as your moving company of choice😊 …
The True North team was organized, knowledgeable, dedicated and efficient. They moved items to two sites and handled everything from piano to breakables with appropriate care and problem-solving. They were respectful of the need to protect floors and meet expectations of building managers for communication and efficiency. Besides being brilliant at the job, the entire team was professional, pleasant, and great to work with. I appreciated that payment began upon arrival at the site.
One year ago when planning my move 1.5 hours North of London, I contacted ‘Mover A’. They came to do a visual of my contents. I was most concerned with the transport of a very heavy two tiered glass table where the two levels swivelled underneath each other. ‘Mover A’ wanted to disassemble the table and crate it for the move. This was with added expense for the crating and labour at both ends. Even in doing this.
Thank you Lucille for choosing True North Movers as your moving company of choice😊 …
