The only reason they get two stars is for the two guys that moved us. Other than that, misleading estimate, and misleading charge of $75 being referred to as a “deposit” when in fact it is an additional charge just to book their service.

I had used this company a few years ago, the experience was great. I realized that the employees that provided the service was yes ago was located in North York and not from this pickering location. I chose Two Men and a Truck based on many positive reviews but it turned out not a positive experience for me. I find it is necessary to share my comments to help others. Natasha Wilson the Customer Service Representative and I communicated and booked Monday August 1st for the move from Pickering, Ontario to St. Catharines, Ontario. I was extremely busy with everything and several difficult situations all at the same time. It wasn’t easy. I was relieved my moving booked with this company to go well.

This is our second time using this company as the first experience was a great one so we decided to call them back. However the second experience was quite different. The actual movers were great and would give them 5 stars (Stanley was amazing) but it was dealing with Masood and Bina that was the challenge and why the 1 star rating. A dresser was dropped from the top of our stairs (we kept advising to remove the drawers for an easier move).
The drivers were late for the pick up (Not weather related) and again they were late on arrival (again not weather related). Thus we missed our elevator window, which GREATLY slowed down the moving process. In fact the senior home will be reaching out to "Two Men and a Truck" to request they NEVER send this team to there location as they were lazy, slow and did not understand the urgency of getting things done quickly.

Use signals when you’re driving and parking. Stopping in the middle of the road with no signals then finally getting out and backing up, again no signals no apology nothing. Learn to be more aware of people around you and pretend to care about other people other than yourself. You could have pulled over, put your hazards on and let the cars behind you pass instead of stopping in the middle of the road and blocking everyone with no signals. People can’t read your mind on what you’re doing.

This was the third time I used Two Men and a Truck (Pickering) moving services. As the last two times, the movers arrived on time, they were very quick, extremely professional and proficient, and manage to unpack my stuff and put them back in the house. I approached moving with great nerves, and these guys made me feel calm. They showed respect for each other, my home, and my things. I watched them work hard carrying the heavy items down and then up stairs on the other end. They were sweating, and not taking breaks! They were careful to wrap my things in plastic, or moving blankets. They were careful of walls, and really worked as a team. I am happy with them, and will certainly use again.

I highly recommend Two Men and a Truck!! I have moved several times and this is ithe best move I have ever experienced. The three young men, Alico, Dejour and Bishwash were fantastic. They were very professional and efficient. Arranging the move with Bina with was also a great experience. Kudos to this team at Two Men and a Truck.
