Two Men and a Truck Moving and Storage

We hired Two Men and a Truck to move our daughter from a house in West Olive to an apartment in Grandville, about 25 miles. First, the movers did a really good job packing and moving everything. We were happy with the job they did. My complaint is with the price. I was only ever given an estimate of around $400 to around $800 for the move, and the final price came in at $846, which was higher than the estimate. That tells me they low-balled me on the estimate.

Moving guys were nice didn't have an issue with them but a family heirloom table, blew off the back of the truck as they were loading it broke they said they would fix it, a month and half later and after many phone calls I still do not have my table back, every time we call to see where it is, they give us a farther out date, and just don't seem to care at all that they broke this and it's been in my family for 100 years.

Well, Carsten and Malachi scammed us. Never had this experience with 2 Men. Asked for pieces of furniture that was to be donated to Harbor Humane Thrift per my mother in law's request as she is deceased now. They attempted to take all the nice new furniture for their own. Carsten Was pretty sneaky how he asked for things. We should have met them at Harbor to make sure things were delivered. Harbor knew what was coming and these two men tried to take for themselves.

Would give a ZERO star rating if I could. This company did not return phone calls or emails for weeks. I finally called to cancel as they obviously didn't want my business. I originally contacted the Niles, Michigan location on 4/17/15. They emailed me saying they would call later that day. About a week later, I emailed back and asked if I maybe misread the email as I still hadn't received a call.

Two Men and a Truck moved our household items locally in Holland, Michigan in April, 2025. Although the people sent to our house were good to work with, when we got to our new house we noticed really, really poor packing, unlabeled boxes, and a lot of broken and damaged items. We rejected their initial low offer ($500) for the damaged items. We obtained quotes, priced comparables and submitted a claim of $1338. All the damage (except $60) and the unlabeled boxes were caused by one employee.

Two F@#$s and A Truck is more the appropriate name for this company. We absolutely have had a nightmare of and experience with them!!!! We were quoted by Carol at our local St. Joseph, MI branch on 3515 Lakeshore Dr., that our move would be approximately 6 1/2 to 8 1/2 hours, I get it, this is an estimate but 30 plus hours, 4 trucks and I don't even know how many men later the job was finally done.

Hired this awful company to move one bed from the north side of Holland to downtown, maybe 10 miles, they promised the job would take no more than one hour at 134.00. They said it took two hours that included a drop off to bibles for Mexico to donate my old bed on the way back to their shop. After all said and done, I get a charge on my card for 273.00??? They promised an email receipt, documents that I signed, a synopsis of the day, and never delivered their end of the initial agreement.

The moving team was great. The phone call and price structure were deceptive. I was quoted $134 dollars an hour, for a move of 1 large china cabinet 8 miles away from my home in Zeeland. I understood that if it took longer than an hour, it would be charged by the 1/4 hour. I was charged AN EXTRA $80.00 . This was NEVER mentioned on the phone, and in the letter; millage is logged at the bottom, but not in the expense table, and no $ sign telling me it was a charge.
