Two Men and a Truck Moving and Storage

Do Not Use This Company I hired 2 Men and a Truck and the entire experience was a bait-and-switch nightmare. • Late start, billed for their mistake: They drove past my house at 8am, came back at 8:30am, and I was charged for their “lost” time. • Quote was a joke: I was quoted for 2 movers, 6 hours. Instead, 3 movers showed up (higher hourly rate), and the move took 11 hours.

I used this company in April of 2022 but after seeing 2 recent reviews similar to my experience I felt I should leave a review. I also find it interesting that they respond to every negative review by saying it’s either not truthful or that they have no record of that customer. •I was quoted 3 hours to move my furniture and totes out of an apartment to a house an 8 minute drive away. They said they had to pre-auth my card for 4.75 hrs “just in case they happened to go over” which I said was fine.

Two Men and a truck packed the U-Haul truck in Calgary for a move to Saskatchewan. When I unpacked the truck in Saskatchewan, the load had shifted. This damaged two book cases for our living room. I emailed and no response. I called and was told to email after I was reminded of the waiver which supposedly said they weren’t responsible for anything that happens in transit. I did so again and with pictures. No response. Of course I signed the waiver trusting the truck would be professionally and securely loaded.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I hired these movers for a move on April, 28 2023. They were 1.5 hours late and took 20 min to get going. They scratched my floor trying to move the couch and it is a very small couch. It took them 2.5 hours to load a couch, dresser, bed, tv stand, desk and a TV. They wouldn't take the TV at first because the truck wasn't full enough so I mentioned calling the manager after which they agreed to take it. Upon getting to the new place, they couldn't get the couch in and damaged the walls.

I will never use this moving company again. They took longer than the estimated time. They were not efficient at all. The movers complained about the heavy things to be taken to the basement. It was as if it was their first moving job. They couldn't figure out how to get things upstairs or the treadmill downstairs. I appreciate them being careful but the time it took 3 movers to decide their plan of action was ridiculous.

I would give less than one star if possible. Do not use this moving company. We booked our move for July 4, 2026. They suggested a pre-assessment walk through a few days before and never showed up. We called and they couldn’t find an alternate time. The day of the move we called to confirm they were coming and good thing we did because they would have been another no show. We moved the majority of our belongings ourselves and asked them to move the furniture.

Horrible experience. To start I was quoted 3 hours. And when I got my bill it was $800 more than the initial quote when they did not take longer than 3 hours. During the move the movers could not get some of the furniture apart, so decided not to wrap things going up the stairs, which resulted in them scratching up the walls, doors, ceiling and banister. Once they had everything loaded into the truck one of the movers came back in to take pictures of all the damage done and assured me it would be taken care of.

I would never use these guys. They cancelled on me 48 hours before an important move. Then finally agreed to do the job after I got really angry. They then increased the cost of the move by over $100. After asking several times about increasing the value of the move for insurance purposes, and no return calls, I called them again an hour before the move. They informed me an hour before the move that I couldn’t get extra insurance, but also that they wouldn’t give me any insurance for the move.
