In their own words
We’ve hired this company 4 times in the past 3 months to complete a cross country move for our home and business. I don’t normally leave reviews, but feel compelled. First two times were great. Third time, they weren’t able to finish the job because we were told several workers had recently walked off the job. We were understanding of this as we also own a small business, but the fourth experience helped us understand why the workers were likely leaving.
Hello Eden, Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We are very so sorry to learn this occurred during your recent move. We pride ourselves on being the Movers Who Care, and will take your feedback to handle this accordingly.
Do not hire. They do not do as you pay them to do. I told them everything I had to move was quoted a price and they moved very few heavy large items . I had to then go get a uhaul to get most of the furniture myself and exercise equipment. They sent three gentleman to talk and not even unload the truck . We helped do that to keep them moving . We reminded them often to keep moving and less talking. I emailed my concern and never even got a reply back. It’s terribly customer service .

The crew worked very hard and very fast, but they were rather haphazard and seemed more interested in getting done fast than being organized. I had 6 men and 3 trucks for a very large move. Near the end of the day a few of them were arguing over who should move the last few items. I told all of them that everything was to be placed in garage while some construction was going on inside of the new house, but to keep it organized because I'd be hiring them again soon to move everything inside and reassemble it.
Hi Steve, Thank you for your feedback. While we’re glad to hear the crew worked hard and your move was completed within the estimated time and without serious damage, we … More
First, the sales rep, David told us that the packers would arrive on Saturday and the movers would arrive on Sunday. By this statement, we were led to believe that we would have an additional day to prepare for our departure out of state …

The worst. We have moved long distance 3 times in the past 12 years -- all of our moves have been with other Two Men and a Truck franchises throughout the country and all of our prior experiences were flawless. Because of our prior …
Hello Chelsea, we are truly sorry to hear of your frustrations with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Lakeshore. Please call our office to speak with Karen, our location manager, to discuss the factors that led up to you not being satisfied with your move.
Don't be a mover for these guys. It's not worth the physical labor and the pay isn't good enough. You can be a full time mover and they won't give you any health benefits until you've been there for a year unless you work a desk job.
Alec, we're sorry to hear that this is your perception of our company. Our front-line team is the heart of our company and we pride ourselves on TWO MEN AND A TRUCK's track record of helping our team members move their careers forward. We … More
I have used two men and a truck for 3 moves in the past. This time however...Quoted rates at $450 per hour for 2 movers. Insane price. Never Ever doing business with them again
Adam, we are sorry to hear that we were unable to help with your most recent move. That is not our hourly rate and we would truly appreciate the chance to hear from you to learn where the miscommunication may have happened so we can improve for next time. Thank you!

Great communication and follow up before the move. Moving team arrived early and we’re ready to go. Guys were very helpful and responsive and respectful, moved all furniture without incident, and were willing to take two excess items back to original location. Great job to the entire team.

We had a great experience and would highly recommend Two Men and a Truck, specifically Mike, Devin and Dameon! They were professional, efficient, helpful, and courteous and moved multiple very large and heavy pieces down a flight of stairs with no damage to the pieces or the home!
We Have used Two Men And A Truck many times over the past 20 years for full household moves, furniture moving, etc. They are great. Always exceed expectations and are always courteous, and careful with our household goods. Our most recent experience was moving a piano within our house, and again they were great. Not only are they dependable and professional, but their prices are very competitive and the people are well trained and very capable. We give them our highest rating.
