Final update on my experience with Two Men and a Truck: After their crew damaged my furniture during the move, I spoke directly with General Manager Katie Witte. I was led to believe there would be accountability and a reasonable resolution. Instead, I was pressured to complete payment first—and once they had it, the tone completely changed. I am now left covering 100% of the damage they caused. Their idea of a “solution”? Offering to pick up my $3,500 oak table—the one they ruined—and take it to the dump.

This is an honest review from someone who has used Two Men and a Truck 7 times over the last 20 years in the Grand Rapids area. Previously, all our moves were local and never had any issues. However this last move was to Northern IN. We decided to let them do some of the packing-mostly the kitchen. Big mistake! It is not their strong suit. One of the 2 packers was new and not trained. He had no idea what he was doing. Items were over wrapped and boxes not labeled with any detail. Was a nightmare to unpack.

RJ and Damien were quick but careful, all items arrived intact. They were courteous and went out of their way to make sure everything was in place for us before they left us. We even "inherited" a moving pad that had protected a framed picture packed inside a larger box. We noticed that several other couples had chosen Two Men to move into our new development.

We have used Two Men and a Truck, three times this year alone for some large items that needed to be moved and they have wowed us every time. In particular, Nick, Angie & Gabriel. They were quick, efficient, strong, wrapped everything nicely, they were kind, courteous and understanding, they were fun to chat with and they got the job done. Everything was in great shape when it arrived and they genuinely cared about us, the customer, making sure our items were put where we wanted them and in good condition.

We had quite a project for the Two Men & a Truck crew. The truck met us at a warehouse to load up toys and then drove them to a park where we distributed them to children and families. It was absolute chaos. Logan and Jackson were our movers and I cannot say enough about these two guys. They were hard working and wonderful, despite how crazy and chaotic things got.
