Two Men and a Truck Moving and Storage

What should have been a two day of moving took three days. Three movers arrived late first day, unloading went on until after midnight Third day moving went smoothly and efficiently with 6 movers and two trucks especially under the directions of the Manager. Several pieces of our expensive and one of the antique furniture were damaged. Except for the areas of building that we signed waivers for damage, other areas such as door ways, walls were damaged.

This is the short version because I exceeded the character limit: Note: Due to the distance, cost of the move itself was calculated based on weight of the items, rather than man hours. We were very deliberate when we chose a moving company. We had 4 different companies come to give us a quote to both pack and move us. The representative from Two Men and a Truck was by far the most professional, which is why we chose them. They came day 1 to pack, but left after 4 hours with the job not finished and no explanation.

Most horrendous moving experience I've ever had! The estimate was off by thousands of dollars it eventually cost me to move. Packers were inexperienced, Movers came and complained about what the packers didn't do, Process took 3 days including time spent waiting for them to show up when promised, 4 hours late on two occasions, did pack correctly and head to order a second partial truck and another day waiting. Absolutely did not want to be there to work.

(Greenville NC branch) Broke things--things priceless to me-- and did not tell me. No response from management.Left behind so much, had to rent a truck of my own. I take much of the blame. I TRUSTED THEM. If you DO hire them, NEVER leave them alone. I deeply regret using this service.

We used Two men and a truck Greenville NC in July '24 to move 3 hours away. They loaded one day and unloaded the next. After everything was unloaded and the guys left we noticed many scratches and damaged places on our wood furniture which most are antique pieces that cannot be replaced or repaired. Obviously no care was taken to wrap things properly and couldn't have been protected to prevent damage. Until you go through everything after the move it's hard to see all of the damage.

I chose to use Two Men and a Truck for an In Town move back in January. I hired them for packing and moving. I had multiple issues with the crew as well as the last minute changes to the things they could and couldn't do. I had gotten an estimate and asked tons of questions while Bryan was in my home to avoid issues but unfortunately we still had issues. I did reach out at the time and some compensation was given.

We had a move set up and they arrived. They told us in the middle of the move that they were only allowed to take 19 items that’s it. When I told this to the office I was told that is not true and they were supposed to move everything. The men lied and wanted us to pay extra to have them move the rest. They then proceeded to kick box’s with our belongings in them. They threw bags with our items it in down the stairs. Then they threw trash off our balcony at our old place which is not allowed at that facility.

I scheduled a packing service for 8/2/23 primarily for help with more fragile items and furniture wrapping, and I feel scammed. Very few boxes were packed properly, they informed me after arriving that they don't wrap furniture, and I ended up having to go through every box to repack. I noticed after the packers left that boxes didn't feel tight so went ahead and opened a few up and found unwrapped glass on glass, unbalanced items, poorly wrapped ceramics, etc.
