U-Haul Moving & Storage of Old Town Yuma

The truck overheated and the AC went out while traveling from Tucson to Yuma at 3PM. The temperature was 109 that day. I had to drive 40 min to get to the nearest service station.The U-Haul attendant at the 1402 S 3rd Ave Yuma, AZ 85364 location was very rude and more concerned with the delay in the return of the vehicle than with assisting me. I called Road assistance and they did arrive 2 hours later and they were very helpful.

Subject: Complaint Regarding Failure to Honor Trailer Reservation Approximately 7–10 days before our planned move from Yuma, Arizona, to St. Louis, Missouri, I reserved a 6’ x 12’ enclosed trailer with U-Haul. Based on that reservation, we moved our belongings into the garage and organized everything in preparation for our departure.

Honestly i didn’t know what to expect and i shouldn’t have came back and just should’ve asked my uncle to help me with moving. To rent a truck or even a van they require you to have a credit card ???? it doesn’t say anywhere that u need that and that’s ridiculous because online it took our payment in order to make the reservation. i didn’t need a big uhaul, i was only moving down the street.

I have rented at least 20 times over the last three years from U-Haul, four times from this location. They would not rent me a car dolly today because the expiration date on my license has a scratch on it and he can’t verify the date even though I have pictures of it with the correct date. Very unprofessional my license does not expire for more than three years.

Assistant manager Alex always has an attitude and gives customers a hard time. Had me waiting an hour to get my ubox just because he wanted to and would not allow anyone else to help me. I’m a Yuma local and ever since Alex became assistant manager the location has been going downhill.

If your active duty military stay away. So they have discount when they dont truck had no gas in it then try to threaten an extra 40$ surcharge for you returning it with the same amount gas it was given to you.

Do not come to the location, the assistant manager alex will make the process ten times more difficult.Terrible at time, management, terrible at his staff.Terrible all around. Go to the location by the mall

Propane sales are great if you have someone to fill it! Requested via the app, no show. Stood in line to be told the propane guy is too busy and there’s no idea when he can fill my bottle. What a joke…
