U-Haul Moving & Storage of South Locust

My husband and I were in need of a car dolly to tow one of our vehicles. We started our paperwork in St. Paul, Nebraska. It was the latter part of the evening I admit. The gentleman that had gathered our information was very helpful and professional. He was understanding with the process. He called U-Haul while we were in his office, confirming our information and request. My husband also called to get everything set up to get the dolly and let them know that we were on our way before they closed.

Hired them to move me 2 hours away. Items arrived broken, never got an invoice although I did pay them. 3 months later I have determined that some of my boxes were never unloaded, they are not here. Kyle was angry the move took as long as it did. Terrible service - not recommended

I've been renting a storage unit from this place for almost 6 years. When I first started, it was wonderful. The on-site management staff was terrific, very helpful. Over the last few years, it has consistently gone downhill. Out of the blue I received a text message telling me that I had to come in& sign a new lease because I had paid late. Except, I was on auto bill and hadn't paid late. When I questioned it, the next text that they responded was telling me they never said that.

I made my reservation early this morning and I got the confirmation to pick up the truck at 8am tomorrow morning, I got a text at 3pm today that my truck won’t be ready until 1pm. I called the store and they said they have one I can pick up today and turn it in tomorrow at noon. Doesn’t make any sense, why can’t they give me that same truck tomorrow morning? I do NOT recommend this place. For what I think the truck I rented was given to another person.

I had a trailer hitch installed by this location 4 years ago. Everything went well, and I used my new hitch to tow a 5'x8' trailer across the country. This year, during an annual service, I was informed that the trailer hitch was incorrectly installed: the trailer harness was hanging down over the left axle (see attached pictures). Thank goodness they warned me, as I'm moving across country and was able to get wiring repaired at my local U-Haul.

Very poor communication. Was told I'd get cash back then when I was trying to check out after hours on the app it wouldn't give me the option to push cash so I HAD to select check. Tried to go in and get cash LIKE I WAS TOLD I COULD DO and they wouldn't give me cash told me I had to wait for the check.

I don't go to this place anymore to request any service, the ladies who work there have an unpleasant treatment and appearance, the customer service is terrible, the lady with horrible blonde hair and the woman with the tattoos is rude

This has got to be the worst of all U-Haul locations I’ve ever experienced. They should remove propane from their business model completely as this is probably the 30th time I’ve been there and been refused propane due to lack of …
