United Moving Solutions – Best Moving Company in Henderson

Worst moving experience only because they were a no-show for 4 weeks after scheduled delivery, stopped communication and delivered broken items and didn’t apply my deposit to the total… so I’ve been overcharged. I had to threaten to call the cops to report my property stolen if I didn’t get proof they even still had it. No communication and refused to return my phone calls for an update. And the best part… they broke expensive furniture and items and still wanted ALL THE MONEY?

Colonial was contracted to pick up for our move on 8/20 to deliver between 8/26 and 8/30. They subcontracted to UMS. They called us and asked to pick up a little over a week early. While inconvenient, we accommodated this request, with the hope they would hold or better the delivery date since they were picking up early. It's now 9/3 and we cannot even get Colonial OR UMS to return our calls for a delivery date.

On the day of the move, NOBODY SHOWED UP. I had spoken with Shay/Amber for an out of state move. Even the office is supposed to close at 3pm on the day, i tried getting customer care, sales or dispatch - but i heard no answer at all. This makes them extremely unreliable with no communication at all. This ended up spiking the rates for other movers because of a last minute enquiry. We are now having to drive a truck ourselves.

BEWARE! They sent a friendly rep. who was very reassuring and gave a low estimate of ca. $3100. But their charges came to ca. $6000. I had to pay other movers ca. $2000 extra to finish the job. They said the move would take 2 days, it took 4 days total with a gap of 3 days between, yet the move was only 2 miles within Vegas. They charged me $41.00/hr for their workers who were supposed to be trained professional.

My ex-girlfriend hired United Moving Solutions to move her belongings from our house. During the course of packing up her belongings, a very prized possession of mine--a coin that had been handed down in my family for six generations, and that was given to me by my dad shortly before he died--went missing. This coin was in an area of the room that the movers had been specifically instructed to not touch, however as they were preparing to leave I discovered that the mall bag holding the coin was on the floor, and…

Do not use this company for your out-of-state move. I trusted them and their staff. You will speak to a lovely salesperson who makes you feel they are 100% trustworthy. THEY ARE NOT. I hired them, agreed on a delivery date window, paid them the deposit. They packed my items nicely and carefully. I moved out of state and had to hunt them down to get info on delivery status only to learn that my items had been placed in their warehouse for storage then my job was put out to bid.

Literally the worst experience I have ever had with a company that claims to be professional. I was lied to that all of our things from a 10x10 storage unit would fit into a truck that THIS company was driving and we would have our stuff in 7-10 business days from pickup. Not only did they send out another company, they miscommunicated how much space we needed so we had to leave thousands of dollars worth of things out on the street, after also paying an additional 1000 to even get half our things picked up.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They came late. Then, when they did come, a lot of the furniture was broken and some items were missing (including my personal computer). Vlad, one of the managers, will come to pick up your stuff, tell you 100 reasons why things will cost more than was agreed to, and then let his movers throw your stuff around, until they take about twice as long as competitors for worse service. They didn't even take everything they were supposed to.
