I’ve used pods before & like that concept but was looking for a locally owned version of moving / storage, found UNITS of Madison & it’s been a great experience from the get go. Friendly & efficient service, made everything easy to understand, perfect communication with all the info I need, nothing extra, no upselling, no hidden charges.
Great communication, timeliness and customer service! They arrived on time and promptly responded to written communication. Everyone I worked with was incredibly nice and helpful. Renting straps and blankets was a convenient option, and the items in my container shifted minimally in transit. I highly recommend using UNITS!
I decided to go on an adventure last year. I'm retired. The real estate market was good and I was ready for a change. In preparation to put my Cambridge, WI condo on the market, I thought it best to clean it out first and store my household goods until I settled in a new location. Todd Purdy, at Units of Madison, has been working with me since June 2024 to handle this. He and his staff are so easy to deal with, pleasant, polite and timely. Everything I needed to know was explained clearly to me.
I cannot speak highly enough of Units!! Todd, the owner just might be the kindest and most professional human I’ve ever met! Units saved the day when I realized that I had accidentally packed an important document in the Unit that I needed right away. Todd and team helped me access the unit and get what I needed at no extra charge. Additionally, when I had a complication with the city around the parking permit, Todd was incredibly supportive and helped me every step of the way.
