You hear the horror stories, and though these guys did not hold my stuff for ransom, they did send over a very strong-looking guy who sat very close to me on my couch to make sure I paid the 100% more than their home-visit estimate. I had a lot of books, in order and categorized, that were packed so carelessly it took me weeks to re-organize. And they didn't pack the books in the industry-standard 1 cubic foot boxes so they'd be liftable.

If you want all your belongings broken, thrown around, and have to have your friend come and do the movers jobs, watch them drop your boxes because they are told by their boss to "hurry", AND have the movers disrespect you while you watch them break everything you own.......then this is the moving company for you!!! If not, then STAY AWAY!!!! I will be taking thisa company to small claims court for what they have done to my furniture. After this experience, I WILL NEVER USE MOVERS AGAIN!!

I made my move date clear when submitting my info for the quote and also on future email correspondences when confirming what time they could be there. The next day when I again mentioned the date of my move date again, they told me that my move date is fully booked. I was misled into thinkin this would be a viable option and I informed my building management regarding the required time of my service elevator bookin based on this, only to find out that they ignored all the information about my move in date and…

We hired Urals Moving for my move out of Vaughan, to the Collingwood area. Vasily was very nice, and gave the right recommendations for how many trucks and people. I also needed to move a bunch of boxes and items to a storage unit, and some items to a second hand store to sell. When I booked the second move, Vasily said he would give me a 5% discount on both moves. Everything went fine for the small move.

horrible experience - booked in advance. 10 days prior to my move, called with all these issues and accused me of not being "honest" when everything was documented when I submitted the quote. Refunded me while we were still talking on the phone - I truly believe they had a more lucrative opportunity and did not give it a second thought and the worse part tried to flip it around and blame me. Happy they will not be part of my move and would strongly discourage using them.
I applied for a move charged per hour. Filled the form and credit card info. Upon arrival, the movers wanted me to sign for min. 3hrs. and $110.00 extra for being there totaling $497.00 for 30 min. work to move one bed around the corner using a dolly. They said that I agreed to all this. The man called VAS lied about everything. They are not trut worthy.

if i could have chosen 0 star would have been too much for you guys. You cannot even speak English & i could not understand what the heck you were talking about on the phone. Words from your mouth were mumbled every time i asked the question, what a joke!!!

Update: I moved twice with Urals now. These guys are the best in the biz. Courteous, punctual, organized, careful and extremely efficient. If you’re wondering whether to book with them you can stop reading now and do it, they’re great. If I ever move again it will be with them. Original review: Can't say enough good things about this company. This is an easy recommendation. They really pulled through in a difficult time. (I hired them to move from a studio apartment to a condo, April 2020.

Just did a two day move and couldn’t be happier with the job that they did. First contact to obtain a quote was quick and efficient and no hidden costs, everything was done upfront and honestly. Dennis and his team arrived as scheduled for pickup; wrapped all the furniture in mats and were very careful while packing it into their trucks, even labeled which room the furniture was taken from so they could put it back all together. They were polite, courteous and respectful at all times.

Great moving team. Punctual, professional, efficient and dedicated to customer service. This group of great guys ensures all of our furniture arrived at our home safe and in the same conditions as what they had picked it up. They took care of the home as if it was there own. Wrapped everything properly. They guys are quick and just push to no end. Our move was not a regular move the total love took 17 hours and we were only moving 20 minutes away.
