In their own words
I do not recommend this company. They damaged a lot of my furniture and belongings. First off they were five hours late and finally showed up with just a haul truck. Johnathan the owner said they would have the truck and a trailer. It took one load that day and two loads the next. Then they didn't get everything. Took my son-in-laws pickup and my suv to clean out the rest from the house. Once I started looking after the move every piece of furniture was scratched. Every box I opened there was something broken.
Valor Moving Company is a total rip off. This company does not deserve the one star rating that was given. The service is horrible. I called and spoke with the manager, Johnathan requesting moving services. Johnathan asked all the necessary questions for moving etc, how many rooms in the property, where was the furniture being delivered to, number of appliances and big pieces that needed to be moved, the date of service, did I require packing and so forth.
We used this company in August 2022 to move from Thomasville to Athens. Despite promising they would get 2 trucks if needed, they did not and crammed all our possessions in 1 truck and a small van. $2,000 worth of items were damaged. We had paid a premium to have insurance and filed the damage with the insurance. We were ghosted. Sent many follow up emails, phone calls and voice mails, texts. They kept our premium and never sent money to cover damages. Never heard back.
I do not recommend Valor Moving at all. I paid them for a service and never received it. They moved an RV shelter for me and we agreed on the price, I paid them for it and 5 months later I am still waiting on them to come finish the job. I have called and called and called and Jonathan refuses to answer or return phone calls. Jonathan is a lying scam artist and I would stay way from them!
Company moved our furniture from Georgia to Alabama and their incompetence caused $6,000 worth of damages to our property. Unable to get the company to address compensation for damages. Took company to court May 2024 and won a default judgement for $5,601 on May 28, 2024. No response from the company! They have zero ethics when it comes to taking responsibility for their actions.
The movers moved my Bedroom set and the Chest got damaged by one of the movers, I've been more than patient to resolve the issue, I've called the furniture store in St. Petersburg and Tampa to find a replacement because that's where my …
Told me not to dismantle the furniture so they could train people to do it. Broke said furniture and refuse to replace or compensate because “they gave me a good price”

Valor Moving did a great job! We rented a truck for a cross country move, and needed professionals to load the truck. The pricing was reasonable, and I truly appreciated Jonathan taking the time to text me the best ratchet straps to purchase for the truck. The guys who showed up to load the truck were friendly and efficient. They did a great job securely packing everything in less than 2 hours. Honestly, I was worried that the truck might not be big enough but somehow they made it all fit!
Thank you Valor Moving Company for a very professional moving experience. The guys took their time and made sure everything was loaded and unloaded very carefully. They were also super nice and helpful with any questions or concerns we had. Thank you for a smooth worry free move! I will definitely use this company in the future.
