Used them in July to move my elderly mother and now after finally getting things in the right place we are discovering so many scratches and dings on almost every piece of furniture. Very disappointed in the service, no pride in handling the furniture "with care". They were way to fast, rushing around like they just wanted to get out of there and go home. Don't reccommend them if you want your stuff delivered to your new home in the same condition it left your old home. Never again!
We do apologize if any of our crew members mishandled your mothers furniture. We did just suffer a loss of our furniture repair man that has been with us for years. I have searched our records and cant find a number under this last name. … More
Missing boxes...lack of response...as if they don't care. Great at first with kind, friendly conversation and movers. Put our stuff into storage for a couple of months and arranged for delivery at the new location. Once they were done and we started to unpack we noticed numerous missing boxes. Called and left numerous messages. Today we finally got a hold of James and he acted as if we never conversed before. Until we find our personal belongings and have a better outcome I have to rate this firm as a DO NOT USE.

My wife and I live in a 4300 sqft home. In June I retired and we decided the next step is downsizing hence the move. As a Marine Veteran who has moved 13 times over my career this is by far the worst moving experience I've ever encountered. First (not that it is relevant, but kind of is because they advertise core values the owner learned during his time in the Corp.

The most recent was from Wildwood, & the prior 2 were from Lady Lake under my former name. I gave a rave review after my 2nd move. For the last move, I told the company I was going to a 2-story home & paid appropriately.

The Village Mover ( black truck with white writing) moved me from The Villages to Connecticut, with a month storage in between. In short they managed to damage every piece of furniture they touched. Further, they must have stored the furniture in a very dirty location as everything as filthy. When I questioned the “kids” that actually moved me they stated that everything was damaged and dirty when they picked it up. The boss offered me about $800 off a $20000 bill if I promised not to leave a bad review.
I hired these guys before the pandemic. The simple $400 move to Summerfield cost me a $750 Matco toolbox. The owner promised to replace the toolbox that was dropped and destroyed. Lie after Lie during the pandemic until I gave up on anything positive happening. The employee's he sent had just returned from a long trip and were tired. They handled my items roughly and without any regard to brakeage. If you value your items, hire a different company.

You have the wrong company! Dominic is the scammer that is going around telling people he is Village Mover. This is Mike Collop's Village Mover. The only real legal Village Mover that has been around for over 21 years.

We have nothing but good to say about this company and the guys who moved us. Donnie, Mike and Kingsley were professional, respectful, kind, and patient. The work they did for us is appreciated beyond words. The way they were able to Tetris in all of our belongings into one truck and then the storage units was crazy impressive. The man we spoke to over the phone and email was extremely great to work with. No nonesense, no pressure... just straight forward business. The price was very fair.

Trent, Ty and Mike from the "Village Movers" made my move go so much smoother then I could have imagined! They worked well together and were very professional, friendly and respectful! I had not moved in many years and was so apprehensive. They took my fears away and turned this into a positive and actually fun experience. They were very patient, kind and understanding even after I gave them the wrong unit # to go to. I will need to move again soon in the future and I certainly hope they are available to use again!
