Great company if you want your stuff stolen and items broken along with it. I was reassured that all employees were given strenuous background checks only to find out they don’t bother to reach out to you about insurances toward belongings. I give this company one star only because a half a star isn’t optional.
One third of my belongings were broken. I had to help move furniture because company didn’t have enough workers. Over charged me for service. Outright lied to me. My arm still hurts after 4 months.
I called on De cember 19th for a quote. They said "Send us pictures and we'll give you a quote with in 24 hours." No quote. I reached out to them again on the 30th letting them know I never got a quote. They say "Okay, we'll send a guy to get a quote 10am tomorrow." I cancel my plans for the morning of the 31st so I can be here for that and no one ever showed up or called. When I reached out, no one answered any phones. Worst experience ever. Use Dick's Moving or Less Stress Moving.
Another moving company that is not licensed! I guess I'm just going to go down the list till I find a local company that has proper Licensing and insurance.
THIS IS A SCAM HAPPY COMPANY! THEY RIP OFF AND SCAM THE ELDERLY. PLEASE CONTACT THE REAL VILLAGE MOVER. DOMINIC AND NATE ARE SCUMBAGS

In their own words
My parents live in Florida and hired them to bring their furniture to S.C., where they are moving to. I met the movers at the house, so they could place all the furniture in their house. They were respectful and very easy to work with. I would highly recommend them, not only are they hard working, respectful and kept me abreast of when they were going to be there.
The Village Movers were punctual and did a great job at a reasonable price. Would recommend them to anyone!
Deven and Michael were amazing, they arrived 15 minutes earlier than the time that was given to me. I booked through a Debbie with Ocala movers and they sent Village Movers to unload my moving truck into my new home. They handled everything with care and even help put some furniture together. For the hourly price I paid it was worth it. I recommend this company and these two men very down to earth and family friendly.
I had a great experience with the movers from Florida to Ohio. They took very good care of us. Nate was very helpful in arranging the departure and when they would arrive. The three men that delivered the furniture were very helpful in moving things to the right place in the house. I highly recommend this company.
