Our experience with Walsh Moving and Storage was fantastic. We originally needed a move and store, but found a new residence late in the process and pivoted to a same day in-town move. Walsh team was very accommodating in making sure our move could still happen in our timeline. Communication was quick and efficient and someone always answered the phone. They came out for an initial estimate and were timely and polite for that process.
We used Walsh Moving recently to go from a rental to a place we bought nearby. They were amazing! Called a few days ahead to confirm everything, showed up on time, were professional, and really nice! My husband had to work so I was there by myself and they were totally professional and friendly—made a stressful moving day so much easier. I will 100% use them again (though hopefully we’re not moving for a long time, lol) and I definitely recommend them to anyone who needs to move.
Warning! Think twice about contracting with online moving companies. Yes, they offer low prices based on a "Binding Agreement" but it ends there. Then there are companies like Walsh Moving and Storage who literally rescued me from a company from hell. Tom sent an estimator to the house, and the shipping cost from Los Angeles to Rapid City, So. Dakota was very fair in fact far lower compared to some of the DIY services (UHaul, UBox, etc). Tom was on top of my move and provided me the date of delivery.
Thanks for your awesome review. We are priced less than the big boys and do not cut corners on service, and for small or medium sized moves doing it yourself can be more expensive that professional movers.
I cannot begin to state how fortunate I was to have 'Walsh Moving and Storage ' help my pack, store and move my forty -eight years of collected belongings. I had heard so many horror stories from friends regarding other moving companies. I researched all the companies advertising the use of Pods for moving and found myself amazed at the cost of personally packing all my property into a moveable container.
Thank you Diawn. We are very please at your appreciation of our services. We were able to load your household goods only once onto the same trailer that moved you long distance to Fort Worth, TX area. This is much better for your furniture.
