May 27th, 2025 Jacob Hall's Moving Company – A Truly Outstanding Moving Experience After living in 24 different homes over the years, we’ve experienced just about every type of moving service imaginable—and we can confidently say that Jacob Hall's Moving Company out of Mars Hill, NC ranks at the very top. From our first conversation with Jacob, we were impressed. He was prompt, professional, and responsive to all our questions, making the setup process smooth and stress-free.

I have moved 3 times so far locally with this company, and every time they have been so great. Very reliable, good value service, stellar and prompt communication, all in all 10/10 and will move with them again! It's a small family run business, and Jacob, his son, and other employees have all been efficient and taken great care of me. Highly recommend!

I hope you don’t mind but this is going to be a long review. I’m going to start off by saying that I learned about the We Hall Moving Service team from my best friend. She had just moved into a new house and highly recommended them to me. She said they were awesome! We had a big complicated move. We had sold our beautiful Carolina Bed & Breakfast, (12 bedrooms, 11 1/2 bath rooms, 2 front parlors, owner’s quarters, big kitchen, full basement and my husband’s big workshop).

I had been burned badly by a mover up north - quoting 2,700 for a long distance move to NC. Loaded my entire household on his truck (which i had requested to be the only load) in january during a blizzard and once loaded he demanded 7,500 cash or throw my stuff on the street. so to say the lease we were stressed to try to find a mover that wouldn't rip us off. my wife found wehall / jhall svcs and we weren't sure what to expect. they showed up on time with 4 guys, 2 trucks and did an awesome job.
