Wee-Move Laredo Movers (moving services - mudanza)

I set up an appointment with them and never showed up I called and they said they will call me back to tell how much longer and they never got back to menor answered my call

Movers scheduled for 10:00am, arrived 12:15 - 12:20pm. Two+ hours late --all too typical for Laredo, "land of mañana." Two boys, fairly fresh out of high school, drove up in a U-Haul truck to do the heavy lifting. They worked steadily & efficiently, all the while suffocating behind masks due to COVID --God bless them! Everything went great during pick-up of items, but dropped & damaged a piece of furniture during delivery.

If you are moving Do Not hire the Wee-Move Laredo Movers! They Scammed ME and insulted me due to having Lupus and not feeling well. I have a disability and they accused me of being on drugs!!! They are very unprofessional and they discriminate against people with disabilities! They only moved a few boxes and did not wrap the 4 pieces of furniture as they promoted themselves on their Facebook. They are lazy and they are bullies!

I had never rented movers before but as a Single mom I found myself in need to. I scheduled way ahead of time and confirmed my time at 5:00pm on a set date. I message the “supervisor” to confirm the appointment. I explained the storage unit I needed the stuff out from the storage because it closed at 10pm so I needed them to make sure the time was sufficient. The supervisor confirmed they will make it on time at 5pm. At 4:38 he texts not even a courtesy call and says crew is going to be 1 hour late.

My husband and the company owner agreed to a 10am start time, so my husband took the day off to supervise. The company called that day to move the start time to 2pm. The movers ended up getting to the condo at 4pm. The job was projected to take 4-5 hours total. It took 4 hours just to get everything out of our 2 bed/1.5 bath, 1090 sq ft condo. The boys were hardworking for being so young.

No show at original appointment. Called me after one hour wait that they could not keep appointments due to a previous clients error. Offered two days later. I explained that I wasn’t happy. They called back a few minutes later and said they could do next day. Next day arrives. 15 minutes past appointment they call advising late. Show up one hour late. 4 young men. 18-20 years old. They were very slow moving. And I’m paying $130 per hour. Walking never moving fast. Two on truck two waiting to go in.

Movers were scheduled to show up at 10AM. At about 10:05 they called to say they would be about 30 minutes late because they needed to grab tools. Ok. 11AM rolls around...they finally show up at 11:07, then stand around downstairs talking to one of their girlfriends to tell her what they want from Jack in the Box. They finally get up.to my apartment and act surprised by the amount of things that needed loaded. This was a 1 bedroom apartment. Everything was already boxed up and prepped.

The owner was good. Kept me updated on eta. Appointment was scheduled at 5:00pm and the movers showed up at 8:00PM. The change of address was within the same zip code, but yet the entire move took 5 hours. The owner sent three Movers but only charged for 2. Thank you but the move took way too long. The owner hires children under 18 so that's good, but children need motivation not to be distracted. Once the first load was ready. They mentioned that they were going to buy a snack while still on the clock.
