If I could give zero stars I would. I used Western Express 2 years ago without any issues. I used them again for my move 2 weeks ago and it was an absolute nightmare. We discovered that they subcontracted the move out when two guys showed up in a rented U-Haul saying they were from Speedy Movers and two other guys showed up shortly after. They asked us to give two of their guys a ride to the new house because they didn’t have a car or anything arranged to get them there.

BOOK THESE GUYS AT YOUR OWN RISK! Reasons why - they're unprofessional, they damage property, they don't return phone calls / emails and the biggy ... THEY STEAL. Someone from this company stole my credit card and tried to use it twice. They stole other items too. Its hard to believe this is the same company with all the 4 & 5 star reviews. Don't be duped like we were, hire someone else and save yourself the hassle and heartache of trying to figure out what else has been taken.

I would rate zero if I could. Where are all the fast and efficient guys from the review five years ago? They are not professional just because they wrapped my furnitures with a cover doesn’t make them a pro. They don’t work like boom boom boom what’s next. If you value your time and money find someone else. They TAKE their time. They said they did it best and it’s normal hours they work but it only sounds to me that they’re just bad at their job. I move every two years and never ever heard or took it this long.

Cost me nearly 1k to move within Coquitlam, between places just 10 mins apart (from a 2 bedroom to another 2 bedroom), we don’t even have large furnitures like pianos or treadmills. They didn’t mention I need to pay for the movers lunch hour, the one-hour travelling fee, or the 7%fuel charge, and eventually charged me 5.5 hours almost $1000: 4.5 hours (including one hour lunch) for three movers + 1 hour traveling fee.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. However, we would like to respectfully clarify that the quote we provided to you prior to the move clearly stated that the total cost would be "$845 - $1,014" which includes travel time.
If I could give a zero I would , this company was good before but there complete garbage … for starters the movers they contracted out to do our move damaged multiple items very complaining type about then amount of stuff they had to move always threw onto there wantin to let you know to tip which is rude ! You get tipped for good service not complaining about the job every 5 minutes!! Also be aware there movers wreaked like alcohol after they arrived at new home 🏠 ..

Sara and her crew are amazing. We've availed of their services for 2 big moves, one on April 2nd and previously about 3 years back. We've recommended them to family and friends and they were very happy with them as well. So, on record, at least 4 moves with them. Sara and her team were very professional, punctual, and efficient. Right from day one, when I contacted Sara, she responded within a minute. Sara has been my point of contact, and she is very responsive.

The move went super smoothly. The guys they sent were quick and super nice. Hopefully I never have to move again because it SUCKS, if I did I would use this company again without question. Everything was packed and transported with care and attention to detail. Western Express made it as easy and smooth as it possibly could have been. Also the total cost came just slightly under the quote which was great!
We had to move my mother into a retirement facility. When the day came to move, we received a call from the retirement place that there was a Covid-19 outbreak in the facility, and we can’t move in, under direction of health authority. This happened 2 hours before the movers arrived. I called to cancel the mover, expecting to loose my deposit, which is fair, but they understood and just simply told me to re-scheduled another day when we had the all clear.

Absolutely professional and what a super team Sara has! I would highly recommend these guys to anyone! Sara saw everything through herself, and the team Paul, Vlad and I forget the other gentleman’s name were absolutely hard working!! They lifted some heavy pieces for us and did not cause any damage to the furniture. If there was 10 stars , I would give them that! Thank you guys, appreciate all your help. It would have been impossible otherwise :) Ps.
