BAIT AND SWITCH!!!! MOVE ON TO A BETTER COMPANY!!! There is no glowing testimonial here. Frank Mayo, who is the Sales Director, comes across as being personable over the phone. Don't be fooled. Once the company has your deposit, it is all DOWNHILL and DIRTY. White Glove offers POOR COMMUNICATION that LACKS in MANAGEMENT which translates into POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. The company does not follow through with what is stated in the agreement and DOES NOT keep you updated when your move goes BAD.
On Sep 1, White Glove's storage facility was flooded. It did not notify customers until Sep 7. Why did it delay? On Sep 7, White Glove claimed that it was "repacking and remediating" damaged items. It also rushed us to have our items delivered. The next day, I asked a supervisor whether my items were damaged. He told me that they didn't know. I then offered to fly from CA to NJ to check on my belongings, but was told not to do so. On Sep 15, White Glove asked for authorisation to open and inspect our boxes.
Hurricane IDA was a deadly and destructive Category 4 hurricane. Hurricane Ida took lives, homes, left families broken hearted, children without schools to go to and left behind utter destruction across the country.
This company has repeatedly threatened myself and my family by spitefully using my personal information and threatening to continue to share my personal information if I do not delete my original post. Stay away from them at all costs. They are such a vile business. Original Post: We recently used White Glove moving for our move between two East Coast cities, opting for their top-tier $30,000 package.
We moved from Northern NJ to PA. White Glove was easy to work with and professional in their estimate and service. The packing was done efficiently and on time. The crew was pleasant and easy to work with. Max, the team leader, could not have been more polite and helpful. However, virtually every antique piece arrived broken. Marble tops were broken, brass trim pieces were knocked off, etc. Some pieces were assembled incorrectly in the new location.
We chose White Glove’s top service to pack and move our belongings in August of 2021. We had not yet found a home so part of our agreement included storage. There are a few reasons why we are very dissatisfied and upset about our experience with White Glove. Upset enough that it has taken this much time to be in the right frame of mind to write a review. I refer to our initial disappointment with White Glove as “The Shakedown”. We thought tipping was a personal decision and we intended to tip.
Was relocating within the same state & needed to store my belongings until my home was available. I met with moving coordinator Ronnie Ulman. Ronnie spent time walking through my home taking pictures of the items and accessing the cost to move. In addition I rented a POD that was already filled with my daughter’s belongings as she was moving to a different home within the same area. Ronnie indicated I would need a 10x 20 storage unit to temporarily house everything.
I cannot recommend White Glove. We had the majority of our stuff ruined due to flooding in their storage facility during Ida. They waited days to alert us (generic mass email), and recommended we immediately remove everything, which we arranged. Our original move cost was negotiated based on a final destination of Atlanta, GA. They then only deducted $750 to deliver to a home garage in Boston, MA (assembly services no longer needed bc everything was ruined).

They moved us from NJ to TN. The next morning after they left we discovered a number of pieces of jewelry missing from my wife’s jewelry. Some of the items are irreplaceable. We called the police and gave them the names we had of the delivery guys. Police ran checks and sent me back an mugshot to make an identification. ONE OF THE GUYS HAS A CRIMINAL RECORD. Who knows how many criminals this company brings into people’s homes on a daily basis.

My experience could not have been better. I would recommend White Glove to anyone who asks, and will probably do it to those who do not ask (also, this is my first time posting a review of any sorts, so that should tell you something). First, it started with an in-person estimate from Gabi, which gave me tremendous confidence compared to other online-only quotes I received. On moving day, my movers were Pedro (foreman), Luis, Esteban, and Anthony.

This was my first move with White Glove Moving. I had another quote from another mover that was 4 times the price of White Glove. I checked White Gloves' reviews and spoke with them a few times. I felt very comfortable with them from the start. I was a little weary of the reasonable price so I had them walk through my apartment to be sure there would be no hidden extra costs. Not only were there no additional costs but they even lowered it by $100.
Planning an out of state move from NJ to GA is more than a daunting task. There are so many variables that can take place that can make this experience very challenging. After receiving the referral from a friend that used White Glove in a similar move from NJ to GA, a weight was lifted from obtaining an out of state mover. Our first contact was with Viktor who came to our home for the initial walkthrough. He was very detailed and provided an overview of the services and the process.

I can't thank enough for Stone and his team's professionalism and great service! We used them for packing, moving and unpacking the house we lived for almost 25 years in the beginning of April, 2023. You can imagine how much stuff we have. We also had hundred bottle of wine. From the first day, packing day, they arrived on time. Then Stone and his crew walked through the house with me and marked everything i.e. what to pack, what not to pack, which item go to which room in the new house etc.
