The rating breakdown
2 of the 35 ratings in Google’s published star breakdown for White Mitten Movers LLC are one or two star.
Worked out from 35 ratings. That is enough to publish but few enough that one more review moves it noticeably, so read it as a hint rather than a measurement.
Against other listings in Grand Rapids
2.2 percentage points higher than the middle of the 19 listings in Grand Rapids we can publish a rate for.

In their own words
One of their trucks nearly caused a slew of accidents by speeding and weaving thru traffic. Very unprofessional and flipped me off when they cut me off. Would avoid at all costs
We paid White Mitten Movers nearly $7,000.00 to move and store our household goods. Half of our things were stored in their warehouse for 10 weeks. Sadly, something happened while our things were in storage, as most of the boxes and contents arrived with an oily, nasty odor. We wondered if a fumigant had been used in the warehouse, due to the obvious chemical odor. This obnoxious smell was really noticeable once the cartons were stored in the basement and opened.
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
These guys were fantastic! They arrived on time and worked incredibly hard for the full five hours. They were extremely respectful and careful with my parents furniture, ensuring everything made it to the new place in perfect condition. I would definitely hire them again next time.
We had a tight 18 hours to get my loved one’s belongings from one assisted living facility to the other. Within 30 minutes of seeking assistance our movers were lined up for 9am the next day. They were 5 minutes early, kind, courteous, quick and incredibly respectful of us and took great care of the furniture they moved… simply the best!
It’s so nice to hear that the guys did a great job for your family. We also are happy that we could fit you in on short notice. Love it when a plan comes together.
We used White Mitten to move across town. They were very responsive, easy to work with, and most importantly careful with our artwork. They hustle to get the job done. Would definitely recommend.
I am a realtor in West Michigan and I am always looking to stack my Rolodex with quality referrals. When I find a company that shows excellence in the way they work, I will hold onto them and send all my clients their way when the need arises. I have found my moving company recommendation! I connected with Carl months ago in order to screen the company initially. This morning I heard back from my clients who just moved into their finished new build and they were happy as could be with the movers!
