worst experience i’ve ever had so unprofessional workers were shady, the damaged my $800 guitar broke my grandmothers dresser broke my bed, and one of the workers stole $1000 out of my dresser and company did not want to hear it when i called multiple times

I hate to write this because the movers were nice guys, but the total experience was not good. Initially, the issue was a miscommunication wherein I had thought it would be possible to edit the quote ahead of time (and by proxy, adjust price). I specifically spent time and energy moving things alone believing I could call to adjust the quote and save money, as I had expressed on my initial call that I was unsure how much of the list I would move alone and was told that changes could be made.

I originally gave them 5 stars cause i have uesed them in the past,unfortunately, this time around it was robbery! I explained to numerous employees "office workers " that i have gotten rid of a lot of furniture and to adjust the pricing,they explained to me that when the movers arrive they will adjust the price.Long story short, the price did not CHANGE due the fact that they swiped out a kitchen set along with a bedroom set "expect the box spring and mattress " also a deep freezer and a large marble coffee…

I had a horrible. Experience with 1/2 price movers. I asked for someone to come and look at my furniture so I could get an accurate estimate They said it was not necessary. So after many guestions the gave me a prie of 1500$. On the day of the move some one of the young movers decided to give me an estimate and DOUBLED the price to 2500$. I was horrified but had NO choice because I needed to move that day. So they proceeded and when they came to bringing my daughters box spring down stairs.

We used 1/2 price movers to move us out of our house and into a storage unit. The morning started out great and the team was enthusiastic. By the time they were moving us into our storage unit, things fell apart quickly. They ended up wrecking a bunch of our items and wrapping them up improperly. They put packing tape directly on wood furniture which ruined the finish. They stacked heavy items on very lightweight items and crushed them.

If I could put 0 stars I would, and not because the moving was bad. The experience of watching this older man Anthony Amato verbally abuse his younger coworkers and make them do push ups for irritating him? Someone needs to fire this man and take away this position from him because that is not how you treat anybody especially in front of customers. I am unsure how the people who run this place deal with him as he was extremely rude and unprofessional with us as well.

Worst experience ever. If you want multiple items broken, thrown in truck, items arriving 3 hours after they pick it up from first location while they eat and travel around staten island with your belongings then this is the company for you. Overcharge and even charge me for a closet they didn’t even take cause they couldn’t figure out how to move it… they cost me over $500 in damages and not even thru half the boxes…. Wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy..
