Verrazano Moving & Storage

Never use this company. This company will steal your money. I was told one price over the phone. when the works came I was told from the get-go a different price. Halfway through the move the crew ran out of material and I was called by the boss and the guy tried to charge me 200 dollars for tape. Then we got to the storage unit and the price just kept going up 275 an hour. They also broke my most expensive piece of furniture, a marble top that cost 2000 dollars. No one even apologized.

I hired this moving company to move me on April 29, 2016, and one of the crew members stole my belonging (a bag). I contacted the company about it, and they only offer to pay me $0.65 cent per pound for the bag. Just be mindful that the company have thieves working for them. If you choose to use them, please close all boxes. Furthermore, they took a long time to complete the job costing me $1400 just for a two bed room move. They were dissatisfied that management was asking about their where about.

Sat 2/1/14 Appointment was schedule for Sat between 11 -1.... Called around 2 to see what the delay was... had to cancel because had other plans.. John tells me "good"... I called back and asked " this is how you treat your customers ".. John told me " dont bust his balls " and hung up on me.. I called him back expressed my displeasure and he told me to go f!*k myself. he didnt need my business... BTW, I was a return customer.... easiest money and sale in the world..

The owners of Verrazano movers low-ball their estimate to get your business, then moving day they surprise you with extra costs. They charged us $740 more, even though my husband helped dismantle furniture and put it back together again and our boxes were left just inside the door. The owners hide behind the fact that they didn’t see the job and “it’s only an estimate”, even though they looked at pictures of my house and they knew exactly what had to be moved.

I did not like their service they have different people come in when it should be the same from the other day. They had workers just standing around smoking while others did most of the job. It's not a team work job. One was on his phone most of the time, I thought he was going to drop something because while moving my stuff he was texting. I don't recommend this place, unless you want an unprofessional job.

I previously wrote a very lengthy review of my experience with this company and I now notice it has been taken down. I also notice another negative review that was written by someone else was also taken down. Think about that people, no one has all positive reviews, no matter how good they are. I don’t know how they are managing to get these reviews taken down but I’m going to keep putting them up.

Horrible service they sent 3 guys one of which was very loud and Obnoxious. They arrived 10 minutes late destroyed my furniture with duck tape took a break on my time and not to mention me and my son helped 3 grown men,still the loud one had the audacity to charge me over time & say if I was complaining but of course these reviews mean nothing I'm sure they will stay working there. I gave 1 star only because that's the only way it would let me post.

Called a month before my move date at least 4-5 times to schedule estimate. Was told someone would call back to schedule and no one did. Finally called again and spoke to someone to schedule date for someone to do estimate. The person came to do estimate and said they would email the quote. Think I ever got the quote ? NO. Would never use them. Use at your own caution.
