In their own words
This review comes with a heavy heart, and it took me a while to get to the point to write it. With that being said, this is my second time using Choice. The first move was subpar, but the value was good, and the guys are from my hometown. So, I wanted to help my "brother" out. This move, to say the less, was egregious!! The movers were friendly, but unprofessional. They broke multiple items, didn't complete the move, and was almost an hour late to start the work.
my stuff was left unattended on the street and I’m missing items … I’ve tried called multiple times and no response … and now my texts are being ignored … completely unprofessional
Wow i spoke with you every day since then but Nevermind
Avoid #1 Choice Movers LLC at all costs. We used #1 Choice Movers LLC and they broke/damaged so many of our items. The guys that showed up were super nice, but were moving for speed and not for care. We saw #1 Choice Movers LLC throwing stuff into the moving van and not organizing it to maximize space. As a result, they couldn't fit a lot of stuff that we had to leave behind and go back and get (for context, we moved two states away).
ATTENTION: Public Service Announcement- If you are looking for movers, do NOT choose 1 Choice Movers(or #1 Choice Movers.) They damaged ALL of my antique wood furniture, disassembled items (refusing to reassemble and losing pieces), tried to tack on charges not agreed upon, and will no longer answer or return my calls/emails. All of the furniture they were entrusted with was damaged.
I rate this service a negative star!!! I hired these movers on May 23, 2024, there were four adult males to move a two bedroom apartment. These movers broke my dishes, Cut my couch with their box cutter and bruised the wood on my fireplace …
TERRIBLE. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! I should have known ahead of time but communication was off prior to my move date . They were slow responding to questions and I at times had to frequently follow back up and ask again for quotes or …
Yea sorry about that had driver call off on me.
Cancelled on me morning of move. Had high hopes until I had to find out why they were more than an hour late. No one tried to make the issue right, either.
Sorry about calling in I'm getting new drivers that don't call in again my apologize

In their own words
I cannot recommend #1 Choice Movers enough! They were incredibly friendly, responsive, and professional from the very first call. I was in a bind and needed help fast, and they found me two amazing movers who were beyond helpful. What impressed me most was their speed and coordination—they arranged everything within just one hour, and it was the very same day! The entire process was seamless, stress-free, and exceeded all of my expectations.
Dee is an amazing worker. He one manned the whole job. Everything got moved with no damage, and he carried the washer and dryer up the basement stairs by hand. He showed up to the job on time, he was transparent about what he was doing the whole time, and he’s friendly and talkative.
