In their own words
I did not pay for them to move, but the sellers of a home we bought did. After removing the washer, the movers noticed a leak from the pipes and put a cap over it to prevent it from leaking. Even though they capped it, the water still was leaking. Also they were forceful and rough with removing the plumbing work, because they broke the fitting inside the wall which caused an even bigger leak. We did not notice any of this until 24 hours later when water started leaking into our basement.
We had Greenwood Moving move us in August 2018. In good conscience, I can’t recommend them to anyone. They were very rough with everything, they had boxes stacked so high the boxes at the bottom were crushed. They did not read instructions on the boxes such as fragile or don’t stack anything on top. There were many, many issues. Also, the boxes were marked with where they were to go, but they just put them anywhere they wanted.
My daughter had used one of their pods previously and we were very happy with the drop off, pick up and delivery! I did the same with moving all was good with delivery and pick up. I had them drop pod to my new place on July 12th. Called early am on 13th to pick up. Wasn't picked up until the 15th which they wanted to charge me for the 2 extra days even though it was setting empty ready for pick up. I had paid for the whole month and told I would get a check for the days not used.
The worst drivers ever... One of their drivers just held up traffic for 15 minutes at the corner of Delaware and Maryland. First he look up traffic to move from the far right lane to the left lane. Then realizing he was in the right lane to go on to Virginia, he held it up again to get over one more Lane to turn on to Maryland. If you miss your exit or realize that you're in the wrong lane then you go around. That is how I learned how to drive.

NEVER use them. Their estimate cost me twice as much. Movers don’t know how to pack the truck so it was only half full. Had to order a second truck and crew. They didn’t even move it all. I had to move my storage unit myself. I was stuck and they capitalized on my closing date. If you have too much money and you want to pee it away. Give them a call or if you want a good experience, call someone else.
We are very sorry we did not meet or exceed your expectations. We strive for every customer to be completely satisfied with our service and would greatly appreciate the opportunity to discuss your move.
First off, we were told they would wear masks for interaction (during Covid-19. we told them we have a baby and need to be extra cautious, and they failed to do so). They also damaged a very expensive item that we will now have to have repaired. Very disappointed. Also they were extremely expensive.

Worked with a great team of 3 including David, Joe, and Storm. Moved from Greenwood to Carmel and the whole thing took 4.5 hours moving + 2 hours drive time. Moved me and my wife but essentially a 3-bed house. The team was efficient, courteous, and professional beyond expectations. Showed up on time, did a walkthrough, and they executed a great plan. All furniture wrapped carefully and walls protected with absolutely no damage at the end of the day.

Five stars all the way. We have used Greenwood Moving & Storage twice. The first time, we hired them for labor-only, to unload our trailer and move our things into our home. They were polite and efficient. The second time we hired them was to move out of our home, which is something of a story. Another, less-than-ideal moving company under-bid our move and walked out on me, with hours left on my contract. I called Greenwood M&S, explained my situation and they sent me a SEVEN MAN CREW with less than ideal notice.

I've moved several times over the years. These guys were by far the best movers I've ever had. They busted hump and never slacked off. They had my 5 bedroom house moved in just under 5.5 hours from the time they pulled up at the old house to the time they drove off from the new house, and about 30 minutes of that was drive time between. They were super polite and communicative both before and during the move. You could tell the movers were intentionally trained on customer service, not just providing manual labor.

As an Executive Assistant, I coordinate a lot of logistics, and hiring this team was hands-down the best decision we made for my boss’s move. She is a badass single mom of three with a 4,000-square-foot home, so we knew this was going to be a massive undertaking.
