Was moving from Vancouver to nanaimo. Decided to try support local small business. I Payed the deposit before hand to secure the day and so he could pre book the ferry(which i was told he would do). We got up at 6am. Was told the movers would be on the first ferry. So arriving at my apartment for 8.45. Called to confirm there was no answer. Recieved a message saying they weren't on it and that they will get the 10.45 or 1pm ferry. So eventually shows up 5 hours after agreed time. Doesn't Apologize.
I'll be posting screen shots of our conversation as this is absolutely not valid, sad to know you'd give a small business a one star review and lie. Next time you should pay a big company $4000 for the move and not the $1200 deal you got … More
WORST moving experience ever!! One of the 3 guys was so hungover he could barely stand let alone move a box. He kept sitting down and going on his phone while he charged me $50/hr. I fonally said Get off your phone!! Worse than that though they broke 4 major pieces of our furniture. One was an antique. Plus they smashed the glass in our large 8ft expensive mirror. And smashed the glass in our antique cureo cabinet. Plus they broke a 5 foot round ceramic pot by piling heavy stuff on top of it.
Let's make things very clear here. Our company was hired for labor only for us to load sea cans into a u haul that inexperienced drivers drove to Alberta! Using cheap U-Haul pads that you provided. The stuff broke simply because we told … More
They were terrible they don't have their own truck and they talked me into getting one for them and it got impounded because their driver had no license and they were 5 days late and we had to leave a bunch of our stuff behind don't not use these guys
