In their own words
Extremely disappointed as a repeat customer with this company (after a positive experience in 2023), especially the owner, Samantha. After expressing concern that we were being overcharged, I received an insulting and unprofessional phone call from her where she accused me of not wanting to pay (completely false—I never said that). I simply asked for clarification and a price adjustment due to the crew’s performance.
I was moved by this company on 8/25/13. after looking through my items that were moved i noticed that my Nintendo Wii, charging station for the remotes, 2 remotes, computer cables,2 key boards and mouses and about 4-5 external hard drives ranging in size from 250 gb to 2 terabyte one that was my moms who passed away in 2010 and one that has pictures of my son as a baby were missing.
I hired this moving company for a local move last November. On the day of moving, the company overcharged me by an hour. They also lost some workout equipment. I reached out to the sales guy and he referred me to someone in the office named Dawn. After reviewing the time, she determined that they overcharged me by $165. She said I would be receiving a refund in the mail. They never addressed the workout equipment, which was just a few floor mats, but still.
Hello Katie, Our sincere apologies for the miscommunication and delayed response from the team. This is not the standard of service we aim to provide. It is my understanding that Dawn has been in contact with you in the past week to resolve this issue.
Public Service Announcement Beware of Three Guys Moving. They were the absolute worst experience EVER. 1- First and foremost, they dismissed ALL customer instructions and requests. They were going to do the move “their way”. 2- They were rough handling furniture, damaging several pieces. 3- EXTREMELY poor time management skills. They can get a 2 hour project done in 4. 4- EXTREMELY poor move coordination (all furniture to back of truck, boxes all mixed up in front so that furniture can not be set up FIRST.
I used this company to storage my belongings, then transfer to my new home in MA. Unfortunately, my experience with this company (and Wheaton Movers) was a disaster. My belongings were picked at the end of July. Luckily, I took pics of all my boxes and furniture prior to pick up for storage. The team that came in (Josh, Rell and Vance) simply picked everything up without making a proper inventory, just a Bill of Lading.
Seriously, choose a different moving company. Had a fairly simple move — just needed help moving bigger items to another unit in the same complex. Was quoted over the phone that we would only need 2 movers and it would take 2 hours. I quickly noticed that one of the workers was doing a majority of the work while the other (who I rarely saw at all) was on his phone watching sports videos at max volume on multiple occasions. The movers finished after 3.5 hours.
Bait and Switch on Binding Contracted Price provided in writing with Sales person Richard Cox's signature Richard Cox who is a relocation specialist for O'lakers moving and storage also known as 3 guys moving also an agent of Stevens Worldwide Van lines came to my home and did a visual inventory evaluation and provided an estimate in writing with his signature. He amended that binding estimate and lowered the price because I was going to use the competition.
Today the movers were scheduled to arrive at around 11am. We got a call in the morning that one of their guys had been in an accident and would be late. No problem we said that was fine. They got here at 1 and then said that we did not provide them a walkway to move stuff so they couldn't do it. We moved ourselves everything in the open area from the stairs to the door into the driveway with no help so that they would have "access".

In their own words
I recently moved and used 3 Guys Moving and they were absolutely fantastic! They were on time, packed everything quickly and with care. They were very professional and made sure all of my furniture was wrapped and protected while being moved. They were very responsive via email and are fairly priced. My sister also used them this year and we both had a wonderful experience and would recommend them to anyone needing moving services!
Best Moving Experiences I've Ever Had! Back in November 2021, Jason (the driver), Ronnie, and Chris of 3 Guys Moving, moved my household goods and furniture from my storage unit in the Tampa Bay area to my new home, also in that area. They were on-time, worked smoothly and efficiently, got all of my belongings to my new home without any damage, and set up/assembled everything that required it...all without a hitch. I felt I got great service at a competitive, reasonable price.
Great experience with these guys. Prepping for the move: I got started by filling out some online paperwork (basically a sheet of what you are trying to get moved, it's very detailed) from their company on their website a few weeks prior to my move date. Move coordinator: After I filled it out the online paperwork, I was contacted by Joel who worked the details of my move with me to include a reasonable quote, move time, logistics, pay plan etc.
Joel and his team at 3 Guys Moving were great. Cliff and Chris were my movers and they both went above and beyond to help me out with a last minute move request. They were quick, cautious, professional and very friendly and customer oriented. I worked at Two Men and a Truck a number of years ago for a college summer job and I can say that these were two guys that I would have enjoyed having on my team and working with.
