Good Greek Moving & Storage West Palm Beach

Terrible, terrible experience. Just a truly awful company to deal with. We used them for a move from NY to FL. They were supposed to advise us 48hrs in advance when they would come but they never did which meant we ha dot take the initiative. They then informed us 24hrs in advance that they had to do a shuttle pick up and that it would cost $495 extra. They of course could have told us this at the very beginning but we were all packed and ready to go so we had to accept.

I recently completed a local move with Good Greek Moving & Storage and the experience was unacceptable from both a cost and service standpoint. This was the second time I used the company within three years, moving from a 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath townhouse to a single-family home in Parkland, Florida. We agreed in advance to an hourly rate for three movers, and I added a fourth mover shortly before the move to help expedite the process.

Horrible, horrible! 😡 Got a total quote for loading & unloading, but when they went to unload, there was another charge & they wouldn't unload until I paid it!! 2/3 workers who came, spoke no English, didn't understand what I was asking them & the 3rd worker spoke little English. Never checked the house before leaving & forgot some items. They also charged more for tape, shrink wrap, when that was supposed to be included. Nobody returns phone calls, emails sent, etc. Communication is horrible....

Unfortunately, this was not the best experience for us. They showed up 45 minutes late (despite me calling days beforehand and specifically asking them to arrive at 8:00am- and was told it would not be an issue). During the move, they broke a wall mounted light on the staircase, they broke two step treads because of sliding furniture down the steps instead of lifting it, and they left a large number of blue scuffs all over our white tile floors because they had spray painted the a number on their dolly and there…

I am typically not one to write negative reviews, but my recent experience with Good Greek Moving in Miami compels me to warn others. My move from a 1-bedroom apartment in Miami to a storage facility turned out to be a financial nightmare, costing me a staggering $3800, with $900 attributed to storage alone. The initial attractive offer of $159 per hour is highly misleading. Be vigilant and read the fine print! A hefty 50% surcharge was added to this rate, which was not clearly communicated upfront.

I heard about Good Greek from the KVJ show. My brother in law died in Texas and it was a pretty hectic time, we planned on getting my sister in law back here with the family. We decided to go with GoodGreek, it was a hefty sum, 6.5k to move everything in her house to storage until she could find a place to move into. She had some Stratocasters and 10's of thousands of dollars worth of music equipment.

Important Update Regarding Good Greek Moving Services I wanted to provide an update regarding my experience with Good Greek. It has now been approximately two months since I was quoted and ultimately faced an alleged charge of $4,436 for approximately three hours of moving services for a two-bedroom condo. I also want to make others aware of the storage situation.

My Experience With Good Greek Moving & Storage I would not recommend this company, and I strongly encourage anyone considering booking them to think twice and make sure every single detail is documented in writing. Good Greek failed me and my company at a time when I was depending on them for an important client wedding. I was quoted $149 per hour for a two-man crew, plus a 25% service charge. Most importantly, on July 20, I specifically asked whether the move would be one way, and I was told that it would be.
